Belavi Bird Drinking Trough
I enjoy decorating my garden, and I like birds. So when Aldi advertised a bird drinking trough this spring, it caught my eye. Do I need more stuff in my garden? Probably not. But this was hard to resist.
The Belavi Bird Drinking Trough is an Aldi Find. That means each store should get just one shipment, and after that sells out, it’s gone. Aldi doesn’t offer online ordering if this is out of stock at your local store. This was scheduled to arrive in stores May 6th, 2026.
The bird drinking trough cost $9.99 in 2026.
It comes in a few different colors and styles:
- Blue round with a smooth surface and two birds
- Sage green round with a smooth surface and two frogs
- Warm gray round with a ridged surface and two birds
- Cool gray leaf shape with a smooth surface and two birds
I liked the swooped leaf-like shape of the cool tray trough, but I wanted something with a little more color, so I chose the blue one.

This is sold under the Belavi brand. That’s not a manufacturer. Rather, it’s the name Aldi puts on various gardening supplies it sells, which it sources from different suppliers.
Unboxing and Assembling the Bird Drinking Trough:
When you take the trough out of the package, you’ll find it wrapped in cardboard, with the two birds detached in their own paper wrappings.
The birds feature rubber/plastic pieces on the bottoms that fit into holes in the trough. Simply stick them in. They don’t pop or snap in, and while they’re not the tightest fit, I don’t anticipate any problems with them falling out. They also seem like they’ll be easy to remove for storage later.
The box includes a small piece of paper that recommends storing the drinking trough in a frost-proof place during the cold season or when not in use for extended periods of time.
The drinking trough doesn’t come with any way to attach it to a surface such as a deck railing. It just sits loose on whatever surface you place it on, so keep that in mind when considering where to put this.
I might move this around some until I figure out the ideal location, but for now, I’ve set this in a large raised bed that’s mostly filled with native plants (a personal passion of mine). I’ve filled in with water, and it looks good. Hopefully the wildlife will appreciate it, too.
The Verdict:
The Belavi Bird Drinking Trough is a cute addition to a garden or other outdoor space. It comes in a few different colors and features either two small birds or two small frogs for decorative accents.
