Go take a look at the refrigerated orange juice options at Aldi and you might be impressed with how many choices there are, considering that Aldi is a smaller grocery store with a limited inventory.
The grocer carries orange juice with lots of pulp and orange juice with no pulp. There’s also light orange juice with fewer calories. There’s organic orange juice. There’s even a large gallon-sized, from-concentrate orange juice option if you’re serving a crowd and are on a budget. If you want orange juice blended with mano or pineapple, Aldi has those as well.
I usually buy refrigerated orange juice from Aldi that includes added vitamin D and calcium. It’s a favorite on weekends when my family is likely to make hot cooked breakfasts with eggs, sausage or bacon, or waffles.
I’ve been working my way through sampling all of the refrigerated orange juices at Aldi, and they also sell a basic no-pulp orange juice without any extra vitamins or minerals added. Today, I’m taking a closer look at that option.
Nature’s Nectar Orange Juice is a Regular Buy, which means you should be able to find it all year at Aldi. It’s stocked in the refrigerated case with other orange juices.
Nature’s Nectar Orange Juice cost $3.29 for a 52-fluid-ounce bottle at the time of writing. That comes out to about 6 cents per ounce.
For comparison, a 52-ounce bottle of original Tropicana orange juice with no pulp cost about 8 cents per ounce at Walmart at the time of writing, while a 52-ounce bottle of Great Value not-from-concentrate orange juice with no pulp cost about 7 cents per ounce at Walmart. If you buy a gallon bottle of Great Value from-concentrate orange juice at Walmart, that cost 6 cents per ounce at the time of writing, which is the same price as the Aldi OJ. Whether you want a gallon of orange juice depends on how many people you’re serving.
The Aldi orange juice is 100% juice and is never from concentrate. It’s also pasteurized, pulp free, and kosher certified.
The only ingredient is orange juice. It contains orange juice from the U.S. and Brazil.

One eight-ounce serving has 110 calories, no fat or sodium, 26 grams of total carbohydrates (9% DV), less than 1 gram of dietary fiber (3% DV), 25 grams of total sugars, no added sugars, and 2 grams of protein.
You should keep this refrigerated. Shake the bottle well before serving. Use within 7-10 days of opening.
This tastes like it should. It’s orange juice. It doesn’t have pulp. It’s no frills, and it’s good. You can’t go wrong with orange juice that has only one ingredient. I still like buying orange juice with extra calcium and vitamin D, but if my preferred option isn’t in stock, I’d be perfectly happy buying this instead.
The Verdict:
Nature’s Nectar Orange Juice is a refrigerated OJ option at Aldi. It has no pulp, is never from concentrate, and the only ingredient is orange juice. It also tastes good. It’s a solid choice if you’re looking for orange juice.

Same bottle, different label as the Walmart stuff. Coincidence?
In an effort to cut back on buying plastic containers whenever possible, I always bought Aldi orange juice in the cardboard carton. It was delicious, but they haven’t sold the cartons in almost a year. I wish they’d bring it back!
we love this stuff! we can’t get enough of it!
I had to Saw the plastic lid off my Natures nectar orange juice container. Why does it have to be so difficult?
Only used to buy from Aldi. Last 2 bottles were spoiled, an acrid tangy taste and not the sweet juice I was used to. Assume it spoiled in shipping but it is too expensive to buy and then pour down the drain.
No need to pour it down the drain. Return it to Aldi for a refund. https://www.aldireviewer.com/how-do-you-return-a-product-to-aldi/
I also just spent over 10 minutes smashing the lid against my granite counter top, prying with a knife and prying with a can opener! I finally got the smaller ring to break, but still could not get the lid to budge. Some more smashing and it finally cracked. Fortunately I had the intact lid from my old bottle to replace it. They have not only made the lids smaller and tighter, they also eliminated the nicer larger lid with a top lip for easy grip. I am about ready to quit buying this product. The calcium, vit D added is also always on the very top shelf, out of my reach unless I climb shelves. Meanwhile, there are 3 boxes side by side on the third shelf , easily reachable.
This is without question the best OJ on the planet! Not too tart, not too sweet, not too bitter. I taste pure oranges. It beats any other brand out there. Absolutely wonderful stuff.
