Aldi Announces its 2025 Product of the Year Winners
On February 11th, 2025, Aldi sent out an email announcing its 2025 Product of the Year winners.
Product of the Year describes itself as “the world’s largest consumer-voted award for product innovation.” Each year, entries are accepted for products from around the country that were launched during the previous year, and specific categories include food, beverages, personal care, household care, and more.
A winner is selected in each category through a survey of 40,000 shoppers conducted by the consumer research company Kantar.
Product of the Year was established more than 30 years ago in France and now operates in more than 40 countries. It seeks to “guide consumers to the best products in their market and reward manufacturers for quality and innovation.” POY says their seal on a product functions as a “shortcut for shoppers in the supermarket,” alerting them to quality products that save them time and money.
The Product of the Year is separate from the popular Aldi Fan Favorites survey conducted by Aldi, which usually releases results in the summer or fall.
The Product of the Year winners from Aldi are as follows:
Healthy Beverage:
- Summit Popz Prebiotic Soda. Available in lemon lime, cherry lime, strawberry lemon, and raspberry rose flavors.
Fruit Snack:
- Simply Nature Chocolate Covered Freeze Dried Fruit. Choose from dark chocolate-covered freeze dried bananas or dark chocolate-covered freeze dried strawberries.
Frozen Entree:

- Park Street Deli Pickle Chips. Found in the refrigerated deli aisle at Aldi.
Dessert:
- Specially Selected Premium Cookie Dough. Available in chocolate chip or sea salt caramel chocolate chunk.
