Aldi Introduces Ambiano 2 in 1 Portable Fan & Vacuum

Sometimes Aldi sells things you didn’t know you needed. Like tabletop fire bowls. Or neon wall signs.

This week, Aldi is advertising yet another novel product: a portable fan and vacuum useful for cleaning, or even for inflating things. Similar products are advertised as good for cleaning everything from car interiors to computer keyboards and other small or tight spaces. They can also be used for inflating balloons, toys, and air mattresses.

Let’s take a closer look.

What We Know:

2 in 1 Portable Fan Vacuum Blue

The Ambiano 2 in 1 Portable Fan & Vacuum is an Aldi Find. That means it’s in stores for only a short time. Each store gets one shipment, and after that sells out, it’s gone unless Aldi decides to bring it back later. Aldi does not offer online ordering for this if it’s out of stock at your local store.

This is scheduled to arrive in stores August 13th, 2025.

The Ambiano 2 in 1 Portable Fan & Vacuum cost $19.99 in 2025. That’s on the lower range of prices compared to similar fan/vacuums on Amazon.

Here’s more information, according to Aldi:

  • 2 in 1 fan and vacuum pump
  • Comes with 4 attachments (brush, pointed, standard, bayonet)
  • Suitable for cleaning with forced air, or for inflating/vacuuming
  • Rechargeable USB attachment

This is sold under the Ambiano brand. That’s not a company. Instead, it’s the name Aldi puts on various home goods it sells, which it sources from different suppliers.

What We Don’t Know:

We haven’t yet tried this product, so we don’t know how well it works or how durable it is. We also don’t know if this comes with any kind of warranty. We write open threads to provide readers with a place to discuss Aldi products.

  1. I picked this up Wednesday and with the caveat that obviously I haven’t used it that much; it seems pretty solid to me. It’s quite loud on high – and it doesn’t quite match the amount of pressure you’d get from a can of pressurized air. But it puts out enough pressure that the airflow from it will leave a little dent in the palm of your hand. It could probably match or best the pressure from canned air if it had an attachment with a smaller hole, but even the smallest one is quite a bit bigger than the straws that come with canned air.

I got it to use when I clean out my computer and to use to dust some collectibles that are too small/delicate to wipe down with a cloth – and I think it will do the job well enough for both. I will probably use ear plugs when I do though.

I looked at some of these electric air dusters on Amazon before and $20 is at least a little cheaper than the cheapest I recall seeing (with some of the better ones going up to like $60-70). If you use it enough to match 3-4 cans of pressurized air it will have paid for itself.

  2. Got it yesterday for EUR10 for the purpose of cleaning my laptops and collectibles. Wish it had a container for when you use it as a vacuum cleaner, but will probably attach a small nylon bag for this. Do not want those particles to fly around from the other side.
Yes, it can be loud, but for the price, you cannot beat it, unless you gamble on something from Temu and the like.
