EDITOR’S NOTE: Updated for 2025.
I’m a big fan of fruit-flavored water. It’s not as unhealthy as a soda, but it’s still a step up flavor-wise from plain water. Over the years, our family has purchased quite a few cases of Hint Water, a name brand fruit-infused water. It’s a very subtle taste, but it’s very refreshing. Aldi sells its own fruit-flavored water.
PurAqua Frut Flavored Water is $7.29 for a case of 24, which comes out to about 30 cents per bottle. We bought this with our own funds.
This is a Regular Buy, so it’s in stores year round. It comes in four flavors, and there are six of each flavor per package: raspberry, grape, strawberry, and peach.
Straightaway, I realized these aren’t the same as Hint Water. A quick look at the ingredients reveals that they contain natural flavors and sucralose, an artificial sweetener, among other things. If artificial sweeteners are a concern, all four flavors have them. These contain 0% juice.

A serving size is one bottle, and all four flavors have 0 calories and 75 milligrams of sodium. That’s it.
I didn’t expect the flavor to be so strong, but because it’s made with natural flavors and not just infused fruit, it makes sense. The flavors all taste artificial, but despite that, they were pretty good.

The raspberry wasn’t tart and was more like the raspberry flavor you’d get from candy. I’m not usually a fan of raspberry flavors because of how bitter they can sometimes be, but this one was much sweeter than expected.
I thought both raspberry and strawberry had the strongest flavors. Strawberry was again, very artificial, but I really liked that it had the flavor of a strawberry soda without the carbonation and extra sugar. This was my favorite flavor and the one I came back to the most.
Grape was just okay. It had a little bit of a grape soda taste, but I thought it tasted a bit off. I was fine drinking one bottle, but it wasn’t a flavor I needed to have again.
Peach was my least favorite. It reminded me of iced tea, which I’m not a big fan of, so I haven’t had more than one bottle since I purchased them. It maybe has a more subtle taste, and if you enjoy iced tea or peach tea, this one will probably be a hit.
The Verdict:
PurAqua Frut Flavored Water is $7.29 and is a Regular Buy. These are flavored with natural flavors and artificial sweeteners. Whether you’re okay with those ingredients, we’ll leave it to you to decide. They do taste pretty good.

I love this water. I don’t like the sparking unsweetened waters. The ones I have purchased, in particular, Deer Park, tasted like carbonated or Seltzer water, and left me searching for the fruit flavor.
I like the watermelon pick…it’s a good change from water and tea.. to me the other ones aren’t any better tasting and this one is less expensive..
Thanks for this review im going to try it
I love love love this flavor water it has allot of flavor I loved every flavoring. Even my 7 year old loves them.
I love this water too. I have been drinking it for several years. However I only drink the grape if I’m out of everything else. I wish they would at least switch it back to lemon as it was one of the flavors in the beginning.
Can I buy just the peach?
Unfortunately, no. Aldi only sells this water in a pack with multiple flavors.
I love this water, it’s the only flavored water I like or drink!
Has anyone that is diabetic noticed a spike in blood sugar after drinking this?
Not at all.
I really love this flavored water. It is really hard to get now, my Aldi has not had any in over a month..bummer
I’m so glad I found this product. I only drink flavored water. Sometimes CokeZero. Love it. In the past I buy my flavored water at BJ’s or Costco. They are a little more expensive. I still may occasionally. Although Aldi’s has me hooked. Good job!!
Try with lemon. Cuts the taste of the sucralose!
I had a client bring me the peach to try. I am hooked. Love it.
We recently purchased fruit flavored water from Aldi. Our last two cases had the peach flavored water and it was awful. We tasted each bottle and they were always the same taste. Maybe someone should look into this . Numbers on the bottle are 00659 4099100 182194 . Thank you for your attention in this matter m.
Here’s how to contact Aldi to let them know about your concerns: https://www.aldireviewer.com/contact-aldi/
Love the water but hate the packaging bottles are bent distorted won’t sit on table needs better support in packaging need improvement fast
I totally agree we love the water but lately the bottles are almost flimsy and some will not stand up.
We buy this water all the time. It’s as good as Splash but not as pricey. However lately the packaging is horrible. It used to be packaged with a cardboard bottoms and shrink wrapped. The company chose to cheapen their packaging and now the cheap shrink wrap tears upon picking it up and know body seams to care including Aldi’s. Guess I’ll have to purchase someone else’s product at a different store.”
I don’t understand adding sucralose to any water! No wonder I hated it when I tried a flavored water.
