Aldi is pretty good at having its finger on the pulse of trends, even ones that aren’t huge cultural things like, say, a Stanely cup or Bogg bag. The grocer has a knack for stocking emerging or lesser-known trends, sometimes even ones we’ve never heard of before.
Book vases — as in, a vase that’s shaped like a book — are something that we have heard of before. But, as niche as they are, not everyone may. You can buy these from dedicated companies like Biblio Bloom or track them down on bigger retailers like Amazon. And I suppose the mashup of book and vase makes sense: I know more than my share of people whose love for reading is matched only by their love of flora. One of them might even spend much of her time writing for Aldi Reviewer.
In any event, Aldi has taken to selling ceramic book vases as a limited buy.
What We Know:

The KIRKTON HOUSE Book Vase is an Aldi Find. Each store gets one shipment, and once it’s sold out, you won’t be able to get it again until it comes back.
In 2026, the vases cost $9.99 each. For comparison, the Biblio Bloom ceramic vases run $35-$50 while Amazon vases cost around $30.
The 2026 Aldi vases come in four styles: Fairy Tales, Classic Poetry, as well as two different novels, Little Women, and Pride and Prejudice. We noticed that at least one of the Aldi vases bears a suspicious resemblance to one of the Biblio Bloom vases, something we have seen from Aldi before.

What We Don’t Know:
We haven’t tried out these vases, so we don’t how easy and practical they are to use, or how durable they are. That’s why we’ve created this open thread for users to share their experiences.
Have you purchased one of these vases? Let us know about it in the comments.
