Simply Nature PB & J Bites

EDITOR’S NOTE: We most recently purchased these and updated this review in February of 2025. Aldi sold identical PB & J Bites again in October of 2025 and in February of 2026 for the same price of $5.99 for 6 ounces. 

I have a child who loves peanut butter and jelly sandwiches, never tiring of them. So whenever anything PB&J-related shows up at Aldi, I pay attention. It might be Aldi-branded Uncrustables, or it might be these crunchy little snacks.

Simply Nature PB & J Bites cost $5.99 for a package of six 1-oz. bags in February and October of 2025 and in February of 2026. That’s up from $4.49 when we first reviewed them in 2020. In 2026, that comes out to about $1 per serving.

These are an Aldi Find as of 2025 and 2026. That’s also what they were the first time Aldi sold them in 2020. An Aldi Find is only in stores for a short time.

Aldi has experimented with how often they stock these, though. In January of 2023, I noticed they were being stocked as a Seasonal Item in my local stores. Seasonal Items stick around for longer than Aldi Finds, but not year round.

But then, at some point, Aldi made these Aldi Finds once again. So, each store gets one shipment, and after that sells out, they’re gone until whenever Aldi decides to bring them back. Aldi does not offer online ordering for these if they’re out of stock at your local store. In other words, if you like these, stock up when you see them.

These were most recently advertised to be in stores the week of February 11th, 2026.

They’re described as a “strawberry filled peanut butter snack” and are non-GMO, kosher, and gluten free.

These have some carbs, and also some added sugars. One 1-oz. bag contains 110 calories, 3.5 grams of total fat (4% DV), 1 gram of saturated fat (5% DV), 170 mg of sodium (7% DV), 18 grams of total carbohydrates (7% DV), 1 gram of dietary fiber (4% DV), 8 grams of total sugars, 7 grams of added sugars (14% DV), and 3 grams of protein.

Ingredients are: strawberry filling (sugar, glycerin, invert sugar, strawberries, corn starch, salt, citric acid, vegetable juice [for color], and natural flavor), brown rice meal, peanut butter (dry roasted peanuts), soy flour, peanut flour, cane sugar, refined coconut oil, sea salt, rice bran extract, and oat fiber.

If you’re watching out for allergens, these contain peanut, soy, and tree nut (coconut). They may contain other tree nuts and milk.

These snacks are unique, with the crunchiness of a cracker but with a strawberry jelly filling. The outer shell is crisp and airy, almost like cereal, with a good peanut butter flavor. The filling is gooey with a sweetness that complements the somewhat salty peanut butter shell.

My peanut butter and jelly sandwich-lover tried these and immediately declared, “Yummy!” They really do taste like a peanut butter and jelly sandwich.

These aren’t the cheapest snack out there, and there is a lot of plastic bag packaging for the amount of snacks that are actually in all that packaging. However, these are something different than the usual snack, and they’re pretty tasty.

The Verdict:

Simply Nature PB & J Bites are crispy and crunchy, with a satisfying gooey strawberry filling. If you like peanut butter and jelly, you’ll probably like these.
