Open Thread: Easy Home Folding Utility Cart
EDITOR’S NOTES:
- This cart was previously sold under the WORKZONE private label. As of 2025 it’s now under the Easy Home private label, although the cart otherwise looks identical. As we explain below, keep in mind that both WORKZONE and Easy Home are both Aldi house brands, not separate companies.
- Price and information updated for 2025.

Sometimes you need a hand carrying things, whether it’s groceries, beach gear, gardening supplies, office supplies, school supplies, or … really anything. Aldi has sold a soft-sided, reinforced folding multipurpose cart in years past. Aldi also sometimes sells a hard-sided folding utility cart.
That folding utility cart is back again at Aldi. Previously sold under the WORKZONE private label, it’s now marketed under the Easy Home private label. WORKZONE and Easy Home are not separate companies. Instead, they’re private label Aldi uses for its products. WORKZONE is Aldi’s hardware label while Easy Home is more for home goods, so it makes sense that Aldi is moving this product — popular with teachers and other professionals — out of the hardware space.
What We Know:
The Easy Home Folding Utility Cart is an Aldi Find, so it’s only in stores for a short time. Each store receives one shipment, and after that sells out, it’s gone unless Aldi decides to bring it back later. Aldi does not offer online ordering for this product if it’s sold out at your local store.
The Easy Home Cart cost $19.99 in December of 2025. That’s the same price the cart has sold for going back to 2022. It’s also a lot less than what other folding carts sell for on Amazon.
Here’s more information on the Aldi folding utility cart:
- Holds up to 77 pounds
- Two rolling wheels make the cart easy to move
- Great for carrying bulky or multiple items
- Features extendable handle
- Folds down for convenient storage
- Product dimensions unfolded: 18.3″ W x 14.9″ D x 18.1″ H
- Product height with handle extended: 38.4″
- Easy to assemble; no tools required
Some carts like this come with a lid, but it’s not clear whether this Aldi cart has a lid. That’s a consideration, as the lid protects things inside and, depending on the specifications, can double as a seat. The absence of the lid diminishes the value of this cart somewhat in our view.
The folding utility cart in 2021 came with a two-year warranty. Aldi has not published information about whether this year’s cart has a warranty.
What We Don’t Know:
We haven’t purchased this cart, so we don’t know how well it works or how durable it is. We write open threads so readers can discuss Aldi products.
