Aldi is Selling the Visage Compact Ionic Blow Dryer

It’s mid summer, and at Aldi, that means it’s time for school supplies to start showing up on the shelves in the middle aisle. I’m not just talking about backpacks and lunch bags, although you’ll find plenty of those at Aldi this time of year. I’m also talking about college dorm supplies such as bedding, rugs, pillows, curtain lights, wall decor, and storage containers.
Aldi also often includes some personal care products among its back-to-school lineup, rotating items such as hair dryers, curling irons and other hairstyling tools, bath towels, makeup-removing cloths, and more onto the shelves.
One of the products in the most recent weekly Aldi ad is an ionic blow dryer. Ionic hair dryers differ from traditional hair dryers because they create negative ions that claim to dry hair faster and with less static and frizz.
What We Know:
The Visage Compact Ionic Blow Dryer is an Aldi Find, which means it’s in stores for just a short time. Each store gets one shipment, and after that sells out, it’s gone unless Aldi decides to bring it back at some unknown time in the future. If this is sold out at your local store, you can’t order it online from Aldi.
This is scheduled to arrive in stores July 30th, 2025.
The Visage Compact Ionic Blow Dryer cost $14.99 in 2025. That’s the same price it cost in 2024. That’s also less than other ionic hair dryers I found on Amazon.
We don’t know this dryer’s measurements, but here’s some other info from Aldi:
- Includes concentrator and diffuser attachments
- Features 3 temperature heat settings
- Offers 2 speed settings
This is sold under the Visage brand. There is not a company called Visage. That’s just the name Aldi puts on various personal care items it sells, which it may source from various suppliers. Therefore, we aren’t sure who makes this blow dryer.
What We Don’t Know:
We haven’t yet tried this blow dryer, so we don’t know how well it works or how long it lasts. Aldi also has not yet published information about whether this comes with a warranty. We write open threads so readers can discuss Aldi products.

Aldi is selling it again the week of July 30th, 2025.
I bought this hair dryer in 2024 and like it. I haven’t used it extensively, so I can’t comment on its longevity.
I purchased this hairdryer in late July 2025. Initially it worked well but this past week, 9/22/25, I turned it on and it burned out and no longer works.
That’s not cool. Hopefully you’re able to take it back to Aldi for a refund. Even if you no longer have the receipt, there’s a good chance they’ll give you store credit.
