Visage UV LED Nail Lamp Headed to Aldi

This post is an open thread and contains affiliate links

The latest weekly Aldi ad featured an array of personal care products under the store’s Visage house brand. They include a hair dryer, a cool air dual styler for hair, hairbrushes and hair accessories, reusable makeup-removing cloths, hair towels and body wrap towels, and even eye masks for sleeping.

Also among the weekly ad’s offerings were some nail care products, including manicure and pedicure tools and a nail dryer. Here, we’re taking a closer look at the nail dryer.

What We Know:

Visage UV LED Nail Lamp

The Visage UV LED Nail Lamp (Product Code: 831672) is an Aldi Find. That means it’s in stores for only a short time. Each store gets one shipment, and after that sells out, it’s gone. Aldi does not offer online ordering for products that are not currently in stock at your local store.

This is scheduled to arrive in stores July 17th, 2024.

The Visage UV LED Nail Lamp cost $12.99 at the time of publication. That’s less than the majority of similar nail lamps on Amazon, so if you’re in the market for a gadget to help your freshly painted fingernails or toenails dry faster, the Aldi nail lamp looks to be a good deal.

Aldi is selling this under its Visage house brand. There isn’t any company called Visage. It’s just the name Aldi puts on various personal care products, which are often sourced from various suppliers.

What We Don’t Know:

We haven’t yet used this nail lamp, so we don’t know how well it works or how it holds up to regular use. Aldi also hasn’t yet published any additional information about this nail lamp, so we don’t know what kinds of features it may have. We write open threads to provide readers with a place to talk about Aldi products.

  1. I purchased the UV lamp from Aldi’s today and it works very well. I am using it for resin work. With the base on it feels cheap because the base is hollow, but it is unit is very sturdy. Get your UV shades out. It is very, very bright!! The cord is about feet, so it reaches the outlet nearby. The control panel heats up very quickly, after using the 99 second setting two times in a row (it was a 1/4 inch mold that i filled all at once to test) The 99second mode is a low heat mode…with that usage it took a while to cool down; about 5 minutes. The opening is wide enough for splayed fingers of a hand to fit into while the base is on. With the magnetic attached base off, it sit firmly and squarely on the table. For the price i think it is well worth it..

  2. It seems like my nails were not drying. They felt tacky. So I started doing the same thing that the manicure does after the first coat and putting them in the dryer for about 90 seconds I took them out wiped them gently with nail polish remover on Cotton ball. Wiped them again with alcohol on a cotton ball. Then I put a second coat on dried them for about 90 seconds. Went back wiped them with a cotton ball with alcohol and nail polish remover again and then I applied the top coat. Put them back in the dryer and they’re perfect now.
