Park Street Deli Sirloin Steak Tips
If you need a quick and easy dinner that isn’t fast food or pizza, definitely give a look to the refrigerated aisle at Aldi. One section of the refrigerated aisle features all kinds of ready-to-heat meals such as pork carnitas, Korean style BBQ chicken, and burnt ends.
Also in this area are several different types of steak sirloin tips. They come in two varieties: sirloin steak tips with gravy, and sirloin steak tips with mushroom gravy.
The Park Street Deli Sirloin Steak Tips with Gravy features “tender steak tips paired with a savory beef gravy made with natural beef stock, garlic & black pepper.”
The Park Street Deli Sirloin Steak Tips with Mushroom Gravy features “tender steak tips paired with a savory mushroom gravy made with coconut milk, rich beef stock and garlic.”
The labels state these contain grass-fed beef raised without antibiotics. They’re advertised as “minimally processed” with “no artificial ingredients.” They’re also labeled as gluten free and soy free.

Park Street Deli Sirloin Steak Tips with Gravy and Park Street Deli Sirloin Steak Tips with Mushroom Gravy appear to be Regular Buys. That means you should be able to find them at Aldi all year. Naturally, these are perishable, and you’ll want to keep them refrigerated.
I bought each of these for review purposes. I paid $9.99 for each 18-ounce package at my local store at the time of writing. That comes out to about 56 cents per ounce. With about three servings per package, that’s around $3.33 per serving.
If you’re looking out for allergens, both of these contain coconut and milk.
These come with plastic trays that look similar to what comes with some microwavable meals in the Park Street Deli product line.
However, the steak tips packages have directions only for stovetop heating. They say to heat a skillet over medium-high heat for 1 minute and add 1 tablespoon of your preferred cooking oil. Break beef strips apart by massaging the pouch before opening. Cut open the pouch and thoroughly drain the beef broth and discard the broth. (The broth is a result of the sous-vide cooking technique.)
Add the beef to the skillet and separate beef pieces with tongs. Heat for 1-2 minutes on each side until lightly browned. Reduce heat to low. Pour the sauce into the skillet and simmer for 30 seconds, stirring beef to coat with sauce. Portion beef onto serving plates and cover with remaining sauce from the skillet.
I served these with some mashed potatoes on the side along with a garden salad. They are savory, with plenty of gravy. My family felt like the sirloin steak tips with regular gravy were a bit more flavorful than the ones with the mushroom gravy. A glance at the nutrition information tells us why this probably is: the regular gravy version has 480 mg of sodium per serving versus 380 mg of sodium in the mushroom gravy version. (See more about nutrition information below.)
The flavor difference isn’t huge, though, and the mushroom gravy version has pretty small mushroom pieces that aren’t always noticeable. Overall, these two varieties taste pretty similar.

The Verdict:
Park Street Deli Sirloin Steak Tips with Gravy and Park Street Deli Sirloin Steak Tips with Mushroom Gravy are refrigerated, ready-to-heat meals from Aldi. They heat quickly and easily on the stovetop. Both varieties taste pretty similar, with the regular gravy version being a little saltier and more flavorful than the mushroom gravy version, but neither is overly salty. We like these served with mashed potatoes.

There is nothing tender about the meat, couldn’t chew because it was so tough. The gravy was the only thing edible. To expensive.
My wife and I enjoyed this Aldi dinner, The meat was tender and gravy had great flavor. The meal was good enought I would serve it to friends. For a price of under $10.00 I would buy it again.
