Crofton Cast Iron Textured 6-Quart Dutch Oven Headed to Aldi

Aldi stocks an array of limited-edition cookware and kitchen items throughout the year. One thing the discount grocer is known for is its range of porcelain enameled cast iron cookware, which is a dupe of expensive name-brand Le Creuset cookware.
Aldi has sold a cast iron porcelain-enameled Dutch oven for the past few years. The latest version to show up in the weekly ad is a Dutch oven with a textured exterior finish.
What We Know:
The Crofton Cast Iron 6-Quart Textured Dutch Oven is an Aldi Find, so it’s only in stores for a short time. Each store is supposed to get one shipment, and after that sells out, it’s gone. Aldi does not offer online ordering for products that aren’t currently in stock at your local store.
This is scheduled to arrive at Aldi July 15th, 2026.
The Crofton Cast Iron Dutch Oven cost $29.99 in 2026. That’s the same price the previous model cost in 2025. In 2024, Aldi sold a similar Dutch oven that was smaller and cost less.
You’ll pay a lot more than $29.99 for Dutch ovens on Amazon. Additionally, a name-brand Le Creuset Dutch oven in this size will cost you several hundred dollars.
The Aldi Dutch oven in 2026 comes in sea salt (green) or white.
This is sold under the Crofton brand, which is not a company. Instead, that’s the name Aldi puts on many of its kitchen products to give them a uniform look. Those products may be sourced from various suppliers.
What We Don’t Know:
We haven’t yet purchased this Dutch oven, so we don’t know how well it works or how durable it is. Also, Aldi has not published this Dutch oven’s dimensions, information about what cooktops it can be used on, or if it’s oven safe. We also don’t yet know if it comes with a warranty. We won’t know any of those details until this actually shows up in local Aldi stores. In the meantime, we write open threads to give readers a place to discuss Aldi products.

Where are these Dutch ovens from?
I bought one.
The little instruction/care pamphlet says ‘Made in China’ on the back, so they are presumably made in China.
Aldi has a support site – https://help.aldi.us/ – where you can (sometimes) find copies of the manual for (some) products, but the mini Dutch oven doesn’t appear to be there yet.
It seems nice enough.
Not an Aldi shopper but seen a “Must But” article about this so we headed out to a local Aldi. Went up and down aisles looking apparently missing it the first 2 times in a standard white box nothing fancy. Grab it and head on out to do rest of the stops. I have used this now 4 times Love it. I have an induction stove works well with it. evenly cooks easier to use over my “lodge” oven. Cleaning and weight. for less than 32 with tax a hell of a deal
