When the new calendar year rolls around, people often start to re-evaluate their eating habits, especially after all of the sugary, carby, or high-calorie foods they indulged in during the holidays. You can get your diet back on track by eating salad, or joining the keto trend, or simply watching your portion sizes and limiting carbs and sugar.

Sometimes you can give your healthy-eating resolution a boost with certain kitchen appliances. When some of my relatives decided to eat low-carb diets, for instance, they turned to blenders like the Nutribullet for whipping up fluffy scrambled eggs or making smoothies or soup.

But you don’t have to invest in a pricy name-brand blender. There are plenty of budget options out there as well. Aldi sells several different types of blenders at various times of the year, and the weekly ad recently promoted a budget-friendly blending system that comes with 11 different pieces plus a recipe book to help you get started.

What We Know:

Ambiano High-Speed Blending System

The Ambiano High-Speed Blending System (Product Code: 56530) cost $24.99 in January of 2022. That’s on the lower end of most types of blenders sold on Amazon.

This is an Aldi Find, which means it’s only in stores for a short time. Aldi won’t ship it to you after it sells out at your local store. Once it’s gone, it’s gone, and only Aldi knows if or when it will come back.

Ambiano High-Speed Blending System

Aldi sold a similar high-speeding blending system for $5 less in 2018, 2019, and 2020. Aldi also occasionally sells other types of blenders, such as a Premium Nutrition Blender it offered for $29.99 in 2021.

Here’s more information on the Ambiano High-Speed Blending system at Aldi in January of 2022:

  • The 11-piece set includes the main power base, 3 cups, stainless steel blades, 1 flip top lid, 2 solid lids, a recipe book, and 2 lip rings
  • Features one-touch blending
  • Easy to clean
  • Creates a wide variety of recipes including smoothies, hummus, pesto sauce, juice, ground coffee, salsa, and more
  • Appears to be available in black or stainless steel

This high-speed blender system comes with a three-year warranty serviced by Tempo, a common Aldi warranty service provider.

What We Don’t Know:

We have not yet purchased this blending system, so we don’t know how well it works. Our goal with open thread posts such as this is to offer a space for readers to share about their experiences with a product.

  1. Come on… How many watts is this? This looks only 150 watts to me. At my local thrift I got one that is really heavy with a 250 watt motor. 16oz Stainless steel blender top too. None of this plastic jive. ONLY $17. — a Nutri-Bullet Prime. You can find them on eBay used. New is $129 at Amazon.

I cut up some summer squash and easily blended it into liquid without any added water

Mine will last lots longer than this under powered machine.
Under powered means wear out and go dead sooner. Under powered is a problem with lots of Aldi items, such as juicers and the single auger juicer I saw them selling 3 years ago.

I still love Aldi’s. My most frequent place to buy groceries and more. I was there this morning at the opening at 9AM. I never saw this before, but at 9AM they had a shopping cart outside with a 50lb bag of huge white onions that were free. Perfectly OK. Took 10 of them. Some cukes also, that I took some too.

  2. I bought the Ambiano 17 piece High Speed Blending and Mixing System back in 2012 or 2013. It is 300W. It is dishwasher safe, and came with 2 stainless steel blade assemblies. One is flat, the other has cross blades. It has 2 large cups, 4 small cups, 6 storage lids, 1 shaker lid, and six top rings to cover the threads so you can drink directly from the cups comfortably. It had a 2 years warranty. I have used this thing A LOT. Most recently to grind cooked chicken for my dog’s meals. It finally gave out on me today, and I am seriously bummed. It isn’t something Aldi carries on a regular basis, so I don’t think I can wait for it to be offered again. And it doubtless has changed since I bought it 8 or 9 years ago. I’m wishing I’d bought a backup unit now. I got mine for $14.99 I believe, so I could easily have gotten 2. But because it WAS so inexpensive, I was skeptical. The next time I see it advertised at Aldi, I will get another. Even If I have to purchase a different brand in the meantime.

  3. I have had an ambiano shaker maker for a few years(bought at Aldi’s…a store that is a Blessing to any community that has one)…and I love it! Cameron line looking for another one😔

  4. Hi, I just bought this product tonight. I noticed the product is from China and has no claim of being BPA free. I am not confident to use this blender until I find something that confirms that it is bpa free. I looked online and in the user manual and this is never mentioned.

  5. lasted 2 months about 20-25 uses. plastic very cheap got hairline fractures somehow? Didn’t notice until my bulletproof coffee splattered all over the kitchen and me. I then used the attachment that has the mug handle within days samething happened to the mug but thankfully i spotted it before i had to clean upago.
    don’t buy
i’m going to get the bullet on ebay

  6. i bought the ambiano premium nutrition blender at aldi (“finds” aisle for $30 in 2022. it is 1000W and has several accessories one large blending jar and several storage jars. the blender motor is heavy and very powerful (crushes ice instantly). the plastic jars are high quality and easy to clean. I should have bought several of these, and will do so if i ever see it again at aldis. Like other items i have seen at aldi’s from ambiano and crofton (eg, small immersion blenders, knives, storage containers and kitchen items), I have not been disappointed.

  7. Love this product. Seriously. And Aldi vacuum cleaners are likewise brilliant.
