Priano Breaded Chicken Parmesan Patties
EDITOR’S NOTE: This review is from the fall of 2024. Aldi most recently advertised identical chicken Parmesan patties for the week of February 4, 2026, for the same price of $9.99.
My family had some really good chicken Parmesan when we went to Disney World last summer. It was from our resort’s food court, of all places. It wasn’t necessarily anything you’d get at a gourmet Italian restaurant, but it hit the spot. It was great comfort food at the end of a long day in the parks.
So when Aldi sold some breaded chicken Parmesan patties, I had to pick up a box. The box states it features “uncooked chicken with real Parmesan cheese.” The box also says you can “cook and serve with your favorite pasta.” I had some Aldi marinara sauce and plenty of boxed pasta already in my pantry, so I was set.
Priano Breaded Chicken Parmesan Patties are an Aldi Find, so they’re only in stores for a short time. Each store gets a single shipment, and after that sells out, they’re gone. Aldi does not offer online ordering for products that are sold out at your local store.
These cost $9.99 for a 24-ounce box at my local store when I first wrote about them in the fall of 2024. They cost the same when they showed up again in February and October of 2025 and February of 2026. That’s around 45 cents per ounce. One box has six servings, which comes out to about $1.67 per serving.
If you’re looking out for allergens, these contain wheat, egg, and milk.
One serving has 270 calories, 15 grams of total fat (19% DV), 4.5 grams of saturated fat (23% DV), 880 mg of sodium (38% DV), 17 grams of total carbohydrates (6% DV), less than 1 gram of dietary fiber (2% DV), less than 1 gram of total sugars, no added sugars, and 16 grams of protein.

The chicken in this dish is raw, so it needs to be thoroughly cooked before serving. The box has directions for pan frying or deep frying this. It should be cooked to an internal temperature of 170 degrees. The box recommends draining the cooked chicken on a paper towel before serving.
To pan fry, heat 1/8 of an inch of oil in a frying pan over medium-high heat. Place chicken in the skillet. Cook for 3-4 minutes on each side until golden brown.
To deep fry, heat oil to 350 degrees. Place the chicken in the fryer and cook for 3-4 minutes or until golden brown.

I pan fried this just like I cook schnitzel from Aldi. The box has a recipe (I shared it a bit farther down) for how to serve the cooked Parmesan Chicken with sauce and pasta, and I followed it. I substituted a shredded Italian cheese blend for sliced cheese, since I only had shredded in the fridge. I used Simply Nature Organic Marinara Pasta Sauce, and I used some gourmet linguine I bought a while back as an Aldi Find.

My family approved of this meal. The chicken is flavorful, with a well-seasoned breading that crisped up nicely when I pan fried it. It reminded us a lot of Aldi schnitzel, but with an Italian vibe rather than German. I didn’t make the whole box at once, so when I make this again I might try serving it with pasta and alfredo sauce to change it up a bit.
The recipe from the box is below.
Parmesan Chicken with Pasta:
Ingredients —
- 6 oz. pasta noodles
- cooked Priano Chicken Parmesan
- 6 oz. pasta sauce
- 2-4 slices of mozzarella cheese
Directions —
- Preheat oven to 350 degrees.
- Cook pasta according to directions.
- Cook Chicken Parmesan according to directions on the box.
- Top cooked Chicken Parmesan with pasta sauce and mozzarella cheese. Bake in oven until cheese is melted.
- Put pasta on a plate and top with Chicken Parmesan and melted cheese. Enjoy.
The Verdict:
Priano Breaded Chicken Parmesan Patties are a good choice at Aldi if you want an Italian-themed meal. The breaded chicken is raw, and you cook it up by pan frying or deep frying it. The box has a basic recipe for Chicken Parmesan pasta, using sauce of your choice and any type of pasta. This was a winner at our dinner table.

I made this last night. We all loved it. I’ll buy this product whenever Aldi’s has it in stock! Thanks for the information!!!!!
I LOVE this product and buy several boxes when in stock. I WISH they had it all year round. The big question is why don’t they????
Do you cook the chicken patties in the fry pan frozen or do you defrost first. Thank you. Catherine
Good question. I’m pretty certain they’re cooked from frozen.
How did you cook them?
I am curious if they are breast meat or not?
Where do you find these in the store? Are they in the frozen section?
They’re in the limited-time Aldi Find freezer section. Aldi only stocks them for a short time, most recently in mid-October, so they may or may not still be available at your local store.
Can I bake these in the oven and what temperature and time would I use?
