Aldi Holiday Hours
If you’re like us, you’re liable to find yourself just a little short on some staple (for us, it’s usually milk) on the day before a major holiday. If you’re also like us, you may wonder: is Aldi open, or am I going to have to overpay somewhere else?
Here’s your answer. If it’s not listed here, assume Aldi is open and operating on normal hours.
Holidays Where Aldi is Closed
- New Year’s Day
- Easter Sunday
- Thanksgiving Day
- Christmas Day
Holidays or Days Before Holidays That Aldi Runs Limited Hours
- Memorial Day*
- The Fourth of July / Independence Day
- Labor Day
- Christmas Eve
- New Year’s Eve
On most limited hours holidays, opening time is still 9 am. However, Aldi’s closing hours for holidays vary, sometimes from year to year: closing time could be as early as 4 pm on these days or as late as 7 pm. Since Aldi doesn’t publicly list individual store phone numbers, your best bet to find out when your store closes is to look up that store’s information using Aldi’s store locator.
* For a long time, Aldi was closed on Memorial Day, with a “limited number” of stores open that day. As of 2018, that no longer seems to be the case.
