Aldi Serves Up the Adventuridge Portable Coffee Maker

My family has tent camped for years, and one of the things I look forward to each morning at our campsite is that first hot drink of the day. There’s something truly lovely about enjoying a cup of tea or coffee in the great outdoors, when the sun is rising on the horizon and birds are singing everywhere.

If you’re looking for a way to make coffee at your campsite or at other places on the go, Aldi is selling a new limited-edition portable coffee maker.

What We Know:

Adventuridge Portable Coffee Maker

The Adventuridge Portable Coffee Maker is an Aldi Find. That means it’s in stores for just a short time. Each store gets one shipment, and after that sells out, it’s gone unless Aldi decides to bring it back later. Aldi does not offer online ordering if this is out of stock at your local store.

This is scheduled to arrive at Aldi May 21st, 2025.

The Adventuridge Portable Coffee Maker cost $24.99 in May of 2025. That’s significantly less than what similar portable coffee makers sell for at other retailers.

Here’s more information, according to Aldi:

  • Includes reusable coffee filter
  • Compact, lightweight and easy to transport
  • Water capacity of 3.38 oz.
  • Holds up to 7 grams of coffee
  • Does not require compressed air or electricity

Be aware you’ll probably need way to heat water before pouring it into this coffee maker. We researched similar portable coffee makers, and these types of gadgets seem to require that you pour hot or boiling water into them. That means this Aldi coffee maker probably doesn’t heat the water for you, and you’ll need some other way of heating water.

But, Aldi has a solution for that. Aldi is selling a portable kettle for $24.99 alongside this portable coffee maker, and the kettle operates by plugging it into a 12V socket, like in your vehicle. So, the idea is that you boil water in the portable kettle and then add it to this portable coffee maker.

This style of coffee maker also seems to make more of an espresso-style of drink rather than traditional coffee, so that’s something to take note of as well.

This portable coffee maker is sold under the Adventuridge brand name. That’s not a company. Instead, that’s the name Aldi puts on its outdoor and camping products to give the packaging a uniform appearance. Aldi sources its outdoor products from various suppliers.

What We Don’t Know:

We haven’t yet tried this portable coffee maker, so we don’t know how easy it is to use or how well it works. Aldi also has not yet published information about whether this comes with a warranty. We write open threads to provide a space for people to talk about Aldi products.

  1. This is for making expresso… So if you want a gadget to grind beans and then make coffee in a french press coffee ‘maker’, it’s perfect for a freshly ground cuppa coffee!

    1. I’ve just made a strong smooth espresso with the coffee maker. Once you know how to use it, it is simple. Coffee was really nice. For convenience I cut open an espresso coffee pod and tipped this into the scoop, however could have gone direct into the filter basket, which was a perfect amount. You can also store an espresso pod in the scoop ( which stores in the water tank for when you are on the go)
