Joie Divided Organizer

I have a large collection of tea. In fact, I have almost an entire shelf in my pantry dedicated to tea. I have several glass jars to help organize some of my tea. However, I store most of my tea in the boxes it was sold in, but it can be annoying to have a bunch of half-empty boxes of tea taking up more space in my pantry than is necessary.
I noticed that Aldi is selling a small divided organizer this week, and the photos in the weekly ad indicated that the organizer was good for storing tea, among other things. I was sold.
It’s a plastic rectangular container with six compartments and a clear lid. The ad shows the organizer is also good for storing makeup, small office supplies, craft supplies, sewing supplies, or any other small items.
The Joie Divided Organizer (Product Code: 712306) is an Aldi Find, which means it’s only in stores for a short time. Each store gets one shipment, and after that sells out, it’s gone. Aldi doesn’t offer online ordering for products that are out of stock at your local store.
Joie is not an Aldi-exclusive brand. While Aldi regularly sells Joie products, you’ll also spot small kitchen gadgets and organizers under the Joie name at other retailers including Walmart and Amazon. I’ve seen everything from knives to food storage to cheese graters under this brand.
This divided organizer cost $4.99 at Aldi at the time of publication.

Here’s more information:
- Features six sections
- For small storage needs
- Choose from black, beige, burnt orange, or green (I bought the green one)
- Dimensions: 8.5 in L x 5.7 in W x 3.4 in H
I was surprised to read the fine print on the back of the packaging, which states that not only is this not dishwasher safe, but you should not immerse it in water either. It stays the only way to clean it is to wipe it clean.
Upon closer examination, I noticed the main body of the storage container is made up of two pieces that fit together — the green portion and the white portion, in the organizer that I purchased. There is a small gap between the two pieces where they fit together, and moisture and debris from washing or submerging this could easily collect in that space. For that reason, I wouldn’t recommend using this to store unwrapped or messy foods, since it’s not the easiest thing to clean if it gets very dirty or greasy.

For tea storage, this works perfectly well. I was able to empty five different boxes of tea bags — in varying states of fullness — into this container. It looks nice in my pantry. It’s still a pretty good-sized container, but it takes up less space than all of those boxes. I’ll avoid putting strongly scented teas with mint or cinnamon in this so they don’t affect the flavor of neighboring teas. Otherwise, this is great for holding all kinds of wrapped tea bags, or whatever other small items you need to store.
I’m looking forward to using this, and it will be nice to offer tea selections from this box to visiting friends and family.
The Verdict:
The Joie Divided Organizer is a rectangular plastic container with six divided compartments. It’s perfect for storing all kinds of small things such as sewing supplies, office supplies, makeup, or tea bags. In fact, the compartments are just the right size for storing wrapped tea bags, which is what we’re using this organizer for. If you’re trying to get small clutter under control — or if you just want a cool box to hold tea — this is worth a look.
