Lacura Body Care Kids 3 in 1 Shampoo + Conditioner + Body Wash

Last Updated on December 15, 2017

Aldi recently introduced a few new hygiene products as limited-time Special Buys (ALDI Finds), and this Lacura Body Care Kids 3 in 1 Shampoo + Conditioner + Body Wash was one of those products. Around the same time, Aldi offered something for everyone in the family, including a body wash for men and a body wash for women.

Lacura Kids 3 in 1 Shampoo + Conditioner + Body Wash

I frequently buy the Suave Kids 3 in 1 Shampoo + Conditioner + Body Wash, which retails for around $3 for 22.5 ounces at Target. The Aldi Lacura product looks similar, and it sells for just under $3 for 33.8 ounces.

The Lacura Kids 3 in 1 contains no parabens or dyes. It smells fresh and crisp, with a hint of citrus or fruit, and it’s made in Canada. It advertises as being tear free and having a “clean scent.” After using it, my 6-year-old said it doesn’t seem to be as tear free as the Suave formula we typically use. She claims it stings a little more when it gets in her eyes. Any potential eye-burning aside, it does a fine job cleaning up.

I do wish the Lacura Kids 3 in 1 came in a bottle with a traditional lid rather than a pump. I like being able to turn bottles with lids upside down when their contents get low so I can easily use up all of the product, and it’s harder to do that with a bottle with a pump. The pump seems to be the direction Lacura is going with some of its products, though, as the Lacura face wash recently transitioned from a regular, flip-top lid to a pump.

The Verdict:

Aldi’s Special Buy (ALDI Find) Lacura Body Care Kids 3 in 1 Shampoo + Conditioner + Body Wash contains no parabens or dyes. According to my daughter, its tear-free formula is not as effective as the Suave Kids 3 in 1 Shampoo + Conditioner + Body Wash she typically uses. Still, it gets kids cleaned up just fine, and the price isn’t bad.
