Mama Cozzi’s 3 Pack Cheese Pizza

EDITOR’S NOTE: This review is from the spring of 2025. Aldi sold this same pizza again the week of October 22nd, 2025, for the same price of $6.99.

I’ve always got at least a couple of pizzas in my deep freezer. Everyone in my family likes pizza, and pizza is good on days when we don’t have a lot of time to cook dinner. Recently, when my family spent most of a day driving home from a spring break trip, it was nice to throw some pizzas in the oven for an easy dinner.

Some limited-edition frozen pizzas at Aldi caught my eye this week. They’re actually a three-pack of cheese pizzas.

Mama Cozzi’s 3 Pack Cheese Pizza is an Aldi Find. That means it’s in stores for a short time only. Each store gets one shipment, and after that sells out, it’s gone until whenever Aldi might decide to bring it back. Aldi does not offer online ordering for this pizza if it’s not currently in stock at your area store.

We buy Aldi products for review using our own funds. I paid $6.99 for a 34.92-ounce package in April of 2025. The pizzas were the same price when Aldi sold them again in October of 2025. That comes out to about $2.33 per pizza, or about 20 cents per ounce.

This pizza is a product of Italy.

If you’re looking out for allergens, this contains wheat and milk. It may contain fish, egg, soy, and crustacean shellfish.

Ingredients are pretty simple and straightforward: wheat flour, water, part-skim mozzarella cheese (pasteurized whole cow’s milk, cultures, salt, enzymes), tomato puree, sunflower oil, salt, dextrose, yeast, sugar, and oregano. The dextrose is the only ingredient you wouldn’t find in a home kitchen, but I generally like the rest of the ingredients list.

There are nine servings per box, with 1/3 of a pizza being one serving. One serving has 270 calories, 10 grams of total fat (13% DV), 5 grams of saturated fat (25% DV), 510 mg of sodium (22% DV), 32 grams of total carbohydrates (12% DV), 2 grams of dietary fiber (7% DV), 5 grams of total sugars, 1 gram of added sugars (2% DV), and 12 grams of protein.

The box has directions for baking the pizzas. Preheat the oven to 425 degrees. Place a frozen pizza directly on the center of the middle rack. (I use a special pizza baking sheet.) Bake for 10-12 minutes until the cheese is melted and the edges are golden brown.

I wasn’t sure how good this pizza would be since it’s pretty cheap and sold in a multi-pack. It was actually very good. It’s got plenty of cheese, flavorful sauce, and a good crust that is of medium thickness. We like eating this as it is, but you could also add toppings such as pepperoni, mushrooms, peppers, or whatever you prefer during the baking process.

I liked this pack of pizzas so much that I plan to buy more if it’s still in stock the next time I go to Aldi.

The Verdict:

Mama Cozzi’s 3 Pack Cheese Pizza is an excellent limited-time special at Aldi. It’s a product of Italy and is a great deal. Plus, it tastes delicious. Highly recommended.
