Recall Roundup: Breakfast Best Original Fully Cooked Sausage Patties

Earlier this week, Aldi announced a voluntary recall of some of its frozen original flavored sausage patties sold in Iowa, Illinois, and Wisconsin. If you’re affected, you can return the product to your local Aldi for a refund of the product.

In Association with Fair Oaks Farms, LLC, ALDI Voluntarily Recalls Breakfast Best Original Fully Cooked Sausage Patties

Batavia, Ill. (August 22, 2017) – In cooperation with Fair Oaks Farms, LLC, and out of an abundance of
caution, ALDI has voluntarily recalled Breakfast Best Original Fully Cooked Sausage Patties due to possible
Listeria monocytogenes contamination.

Upon notification from the supplier, ALDI immediately removed the affected product from its stores.
The affected product is sold in a 32 oz. bag that has the UPC code 041498162436 with the sell-by date of
05/15/2018. The affected product also includes the establishment number “17479T” on the bottom of the
package.

The Breakfast Best Original Fully Cooked Sausage Patties were available at ALDI locations in Illinois, Iowa
and Wisconsin.

To date, no illnesses related to this product have been reported. No other ALDI products are affected by
this recall.

ALDI takes the safety and integrity of the products it sells seriously. If customers have product affected by
this voluntary recall, they should discard it immediately or return it to their local store for a full refund.
