Serra Coastal Jewelry

Aldi releases a lot of jewelry under its house brand Serra, which encompasses most of the store’s women’s clothing, shoes, and accessories. We have reviewed plenty of women’s clothing and shoes from Aldi over the years. However, I realized we’ve never covered any of Serra’s jewelry. The closest we came to it were some hair clips and earrings from the Aldi Alex’s Lemonade Stand product line a few months ago. With Aldi’s summer inventory slowly coming to a close as we approach back-to-school season, I picked up a few pieces from the Serra jewelry line that caught my eye.

Serra Coastal Jewelry is $7.99 each and is an Aldi Find, meaning it’s only in stores for a limited time. Each store gets one shipment and once it’s gone, it’s gone. You can’t order any of this online from Aldi if it’s out of stock at your local store.

This specific line of jewelry included a shell necklace, a rainbow beaded necklace, a charm bracelet, and an assortment of shell and sea star earrings. I picked up everything except the earrings. Serra earrings are always absurdly huge, and they are both uncomfortable and also bad for your ears, as they weigh them down. All of the jewelry is nickel free.

Serra Charm Bracelet

Starting off with the charm bracelet, it has five charms: two seashells, a sea star, a golden heart, and a pearl. One of this bracelet’s underrated perks is that three of the five shells don’t have a definitive front and back, so no matter which way the charms are positioned, they always look good. The sea star and spiral sea shell are the exceptions. The paint job on the spiral shell isn’t perfect, but it’s not going to be noticeable to anyone else. The bracelet isn’t super long, but it fit my wrist nicely, and I’m excited to wear it.

Serra Shell Necklace

Next up is the gold shell necklace. It has a chunky chain with a large shell in the center. Both necklaces have four large hoops to put the clip in to adjust the length. The chain is a bit too bulky for my taste, so it’s probably my least favorite of the three items I purchased. The chain is a good length, though. I’ve purchased more expensive necklaces that have chains so short it’s hard to keep the charms from getting tucked into my shirt. This necklace doesn’t have that issue, but it’s also not awkwardly long. Overall, it’s a great statement piece. Paired with a cute top or dress, it could be great for a vacation or get-together.

Serra Beaded Necklace

The second necklace has rainbow beads with a handful of diamond-encrusted ones in between, complete with a shell charm in the center. This necklace is significantly lighter than the first one, and it feels slightly shorter, too. One nice detail on this necklace is that there’s a small shell on the end of the chain that hangs down the back of your neck. The other necklace just has a small metal circle, so I like the attention to detail on this one. This necklace is a bit louder than the other just because of how colorful it is, but with a solid-color shirt, it pops really well. I also love the shell charm in the center, which is smaller than the shell on the previous necklace.

The Verdict:

Serra Coastal Jewelry is $7.99 a piece and is a limited-time Aldi Find. This is my first experience with Serra Jewelry, and while the earrings might not be a hit with me, I’ll definitely keep an eye out for any new necklaces or bracelets Aldi sells in the future. They’ve been on shelves for a few weeks at my location, so maybe they weren’t hot sellers. If that’s the case at your store, I’d recommend taking a look at them. There’s enough variety to suit different styles, and they’re all great pieces to celebrate the end of summer.
