Belavi 4-Pack Solar Disc Lights

My wife is an avid gardener. She enjoys working the raised beds that we keep in the backyard, tending to native plants and a handful of edible plants, including tomatoes. She also plants a variety of flora in our front yard, accenting our landscaping.

When we first bought our house, we purchased some solar lights to add a little evening ambiance to the front yard. Those lights eventually wore out and were tossed, but I’ve always thought it would be cool to bring some lighting back. I’m not interested in wired lights — more work than I want to take on — so I’ve kept alive the idea of adding solar ones. In 2024, Aldi brought such a light set to store shelves. I caved and bought them to try out … and I returned to buy another set when they came back in 2025.

Belavi 4-Pack Solar Disc Lights (Product Code: 708582) are an Aldi Find. That means they’re a limited-time buy, and once they sell out, you won’t be able to find them in stores until they come back, which could be next year or not at all. Because you often can’t order Aldi products online, if you can’t find any in your store, you’re likely out of luck.

In 2024, the 4-pack costs $14.99, or about $3.75 per light, while in 2025 and 2026 the pack sold for $12.99, or $3.25 per light. This appears to be about on par with prices I can find on Amazon.

One possible reason for the lower price in 2025 and 2026: warranties. The 2024 lights were made by Questwood, a Taiwan-based company that deals in solar lighting and has supplied other Aldi lights we’ve reviewed in the past. Questwood backed those lights with a 2-year warranty through phone number 1-888-280-7088 and email service@questwood.asia. The 2025 lights, by contrast, didn’t have a warranty.

According to Aldi, the lights’ features include:

  • 8 warm white LEDs per light
  • 20 lumens
  • Up to 8 hours run time
  • Multi-purpose use in soil, grass, on concrete as low-profile path lights, or mounted on fences, walls, or steps
  • Includes stakes for use in ground and mounting hardware for use on walls and fences
  • Solar-powered

The 2024 lights came out of the box with the following:

  • 4 disc lights
  • 4 connecting boards
  • 4 ground stakes (left)
  • 4 ground stakes (right)
  • 16 screws
  • 16 plastic anchors

The 2025 lights were similar, with small tweaks to the underside that included wall mount accessories. The differences weren’t huge, though.

The manuals come with instructions for soil ground mount installation, concrete ground or wall mount installation, and (non-concrete) wall mount installation. Soil ground mount is the easiest of the four, as it just involves assembling the lights and pushing them into the ground. If you want to mount the lights on concrete or on a wall, you’ll need a drill and a screwdriver in addition to what’s in the box.

We planned on putting these into the soil, so for us putting them together took just a few minutes. The connecting board was already attached, so all we needed to do was fit the left and right stakes together, then push them into the receiving holes at the bottom of the connecting board.

Before pushing them into the ground or mounting them, it’s important to flip a small switch on the light from “OFF” to “ON.” That switch stays on at all times. It’s also important to remove the plastic film from the top of the solar light.

So how do they work?

They’re cool. They kick up more light in the air than I would expect and they also cast a halo of light a couple of feet around them. I can see them easily from a distance, and when close they do well illuminating both the landscape and any nearby ground.

The Verdict:

The Belavi 4-Pack Solar Disc Lights are a fun and simple way to accent a space with ambient light. They serve as bright markers in the dark, lighting up a couple of feet around them in a stylish glow. Better still, they are low maintenance. The 2024 lights have done well for us after a year of use, and we have similar hopes for the 2025 ones.

UPDATE (March 2026): We’ve had the 2024 lights for two years now and the 2025 lights for one year. All of them are still working, charging during the day and glowing during the night.

  1. I love these Belavi disc lights. Would love another 4 pack if they ever come back. Im disappointed they only had one pack when i bought this pack. Do you let folks know when a previous item ever returns to the stores? I’m sure it’s probably next to impossible to track that but sure would like to know if you do that.
Enjoyed your posts that I’ve read so far.

  2. I cannot see how to turn them on. There is an on off but you can’t slide it or push it? Help please

  3. One week ago I bought 4 boxes (each a 4 pack) of the Belavi landscape lights. I carefully attaced the stakes & placed 12 of them in an area that gets full morning sun. They have been in the ground for 3 days (full sun each day). Thus far, NONE of them have lit up at all at night.

I also attempted to move &/push the ON/OFF button. To no avail. There is no plastic/protective covering on the 2026 models so the light is not being blocked.
It seems highly unusual that all of the lights I purchased was don’t work. They were all purchased at the same ALDI in FL.

I would greatly appreciate a response or number I can call for customer service.
    Thank you
