Cattlemen’s Ranch Fresh USDA Choice Corned Beef Points
Cost: $1.99 per lb.
Thoughts: There is a limit of two packages of meat per customer while supplies last. My family has found that Aldi’s corned beef makes an excellent St. Patrick’s Day dinner, and you can get everything else you need for this meal at Aldi, including carrots, potatoes, and cabbage.

Thoughts: This is sold in an 18-oz. package. In the past, Aldi has sold an Irish soda bread box mix that was easy to make at home. This year, it appears Aldi is trying something different with ready-made bread.

O’Shea’s Irish Stout
Cost: see price in store
Thoughts: This is not available in all locations. It comes in a package with four 11.2-oz. bottles. This is described as a “rich, dark, malt body with espresso coffee and light licorice aromas that lead to a smooth mouth feel, hoppy bitterness and a dry finish.” It pairs with steak, beef stew, Irish cheeses, chocolate souffle, and tiramisu.
