Barissimo Caramel Macchiato Coffee Creamer

I don’t drink coffee often, but when I do, it has to have creamer and sweetener. There’s a locally owned coffee shop not far from where I live — it’s a cat cafe, actually, which is pretty amazing — that I like to get iced coffee from. I always get something with flavor, like caramel or vanilla.

I can also buy all the fixings for iced coffee from Aldi. The grocer stocks ready-made iced coffee, various creamers, and even cold foam. Today, I’m taking a closer look at one of the creamer flavors Aldi sells: caramel macchiato.

Barissimo Caramel Macchiato Coffee Creamer is a Regular Buy. That means you should be able to find it at Aldi any time of year. It’s stocked in the refrigerator case near the milk, iced coffee, and juice.

We buy Aldi products for review using our own funds. I paid $2.75 for a 32-ounce container at my local Aldi in May of 2025. That’s around 9 cents per ounce.

If you’re looking out for allergens, this contains milk and soy. This is kosher.

This has a length ingredients list and is definitely ultra-processed, so it’s something I indulge in only occasionally. The full ingredients list is water, sugar, soybean and/or palm oil, and less than 2% natural and artificial flavors, micellar casein (a milk derivative), dipotassium phosphate, polysorbate 60, datem, sodium stearoyl lactylate, sodium phosphate, sodium citrate, cellulose gel, cellulose gum, and carrageenan.

There are about 63 one-tablespoon servings per bottle. One 1-tablespoon serving has 35 calories, 1.5 grams of total fat (2% DV), no saturated fat, 15 mg of sodium (1% DV), 5 grams of total carbohydrates (2% DV), 5 grams of total sugars, 5 grams of added sugars (10% DV), and no protein.

This should be kept refrigerated. For best quality, the bottle states to use it within 14 days of opening.

I mostly served this with some iced coffee and cold foam from Aldi, but I also had it with some hot black tea. It adds a nice creamy, sweet flavor to your drink. I prefer vanilla or sweet cream coffee creamers, depending on the drink, but this one is good, too.

The Verdict:

Barissimo Caramel Macchiato Coffee Creamer is good in cold or hot coffee. We like it with Aldi ready-made iced coffee. Just be aware it’s ultra-processed and has some added sugars.
