Barissimo Cold Brew Coffee

EDITOR’S NOTE: We originally reviewed these in the summer of 2025 when Aldi stocked them as a Seasonal Product. Aldi is bringing them back the week of February 11th, 2026, as a limited-time Aldi Find

My family frequently buys road-trip food from Aldi. Whether it’s ready-to-serve single salads we can eat for lunch or unsweetened bottles of iced tea for a pick-me-up, the grocer has a decent amount of offer if you’re travelling.

One morning when my family was getting ready to hit the road after some vacation time, I spotted these little gems in the refrigerated aisle at Aldi.

Barissimo Cold Brew Coffee comes in two varieties: unsweetened and vanilla cream. I picked up both.

Barissimo Cold Bew Coffee is currently an Aldi Find. That means they’re only in stores for a short time. Each store should get one shipment, and after that sells out, they’re gone until whenever Aldi decides to bring them back. If they’re not currently in stock at your local store, you can’t order them online from Aldi.

(When I first saw these at Aldi in mid-2025, they were a Seasonal Product. That meant Aldi stocked them for a few months out of the year, but not year round.)

These cost $2.19 for an 8-ounce can in 2025 and in 2026, or about 27 cents per ounce. (I bought it on sale in July of 2025 for $0.99 per can, or about 12 cents per ounce, and later I found them for about 49 cents a piece.)

You’ll want to keep these stored in the fridge, and definitely refrigerate them after opening if you don’t drink them all in one sitting. The cans recommend gently shaking before opening.

I’m not a black coffee kind of person, so the unsweetened coffee isn’t my favorite. However, I do appreciate having the option to buy a caffeinated drink without added sugar.

As for the vanilla cream cold brew, it’s delicious. It’s creamy and has just the right amount of sweetness to balance the bitter coffee. I also like that this doesn’t go overboard with the sugar, with just 5 grams of added sugars. I’ve seen plenty of other coffee drinks with much more sugar. The vanilla cream coffee was the perfect energy boost when we had a day of driving ahead of us, and I’m glad I found it. I’ll be buying more.

The Verdict:

Barissimo Cold Bew Coffee comes in unsweetened and vanilla cream varieties. They’re both good, depending on whether you like your iced coffee plain or sweet and creamy. We’re partial to the vanilla cream. Just keep in mind these aren’t in stores all the time, so stock up.
