WORKZONE LED Magnetic Flashlight Lights Up the Aldi Middle Aisle

I feel like I can never stock my house with enough flashlights. We use them for camping, the occasional power outage, trick or treating, and various tasks that require a light in dark places.

Aldi sells a variety of flashlights at different times of year. I’ve seen rechargeable LED flashlights and 200 lumen LED flashlights, to name a few.

The latest flashlight to show up in the weekly Aldi ad is unique. It’s a magnetic flashlight that features a telescoping light that’s flexible and extendable up to 22 inches.

What We Know:

WORKZONE LED Magnetic Flashlight

The WORKZONE LED Magnetic Flashlight (Product Code: 841742) is an Aldi Find, so it’s only in stores for a short time. Each store gets one shipment, and it’s gone after that sells out. Aldi might bring it back later, but that’s never a certainty. Aldi does not offer online ordering if this is out of stock at your local store.

This is scheduled to arrive on Aldi shelves December 11th, 2024.

It cost $6.99 in 2024. That’s less than similar flashlights on Amazon.

Here’s more information, according to Aldi:

  • Made of aluminum
  • 3 LED lights
  • Includes strong magnet in both head and base
  • Telescope extendable to 22 inches
  • Features a 360-degree flexible head
  • Must-have tool for home, auto, garage, and camping

This is sold under the WORKZONE brand. That’s not a company. Instead, it’s the name Aldi puts on various tools and garage / workshop gear Aldi sells. Those products are sourced from various suppliers.

What We Don’t Know:

We haven’t yet tried this flashlight, so we don’t know how well it works. We write open threads to give readers a place to ask questions and share their thoughts about Aldi products.

  1. The functionality of the magnets and the telescoping ability make this worth the 6.99, but as far as a flashlight, it leaves a lot to be desired. With only 10 lumens, it really doesn’t cut through the darkness with much intensity, but it will do in a pinch.
