LIVE IN STYLE Fashion Waterbottle Crossbody Landing at Aldi

Crossbody bags are having a moment right now. If you see people out walking, or hiking, or making their way through a theme park, you’re liable to see some of them in the wild.
The reasons, I think, are mainly practical. For one, crossbody bags are typically smaller than the average backpack. While some trips call for a bag with a lot of space, your average day excursion might not. A bulky backpack is a chore when you don’t need to carry a lot.
Two, the contents of a crossbody bag are easier to get at compared to a backpack, which you have to take off. Because of how crossbody bags sling over the shoulder, you can typically slide them around to get at what’s on your back with ease, making it a more convenient storage option, especially when you don’t have the time or space to sit down, pull a backpack off, rummage through it, and then put it back on.
Most crossbody bags are aimed toward holding stuff like keys or wallets, but there is a subtype of the bags aimed toward carrying water bottles and other beverages. That’s what Aldi decided to sell, debuting such an item in 2026.
What We Know:

The LIVE IN STYLE Fashion Waterbottle Crossbody is an Aldi Find. That means each store should get a single shipment, and once that shipment is sold out, you won’t be able to find it in stores again until it comes back, whenever that might be. If you can’t spot them at your local Aldi, you’re out of luck for now. You can’t order these online from Aldi if they’re out of stock at your local store.
These are scheduled to be available the week of April 22nd, 2026.
In 2026, the crossbody bag costs $9.99. That’s a fraction of the cost of what we can find on Amazon.
In 2026, the bags came in three styles: beige, black, and white sherpa. The beige and black ones have a smooth surface while the white sherpa has a soft surface.

The bags come with a few components. One is the main bag, designed to hold a water bottle. The other is a braided carry handle, which allows the bottle to be held at your side while off your shoulder. The third, of course, is an adjustable shoulder strap.
What We Don’t Know:
We haven’t tried out this particular crossbody bag, so we don’t know how well it holds water bottles, how comfortable it is to wear, or how durable it is. That’s why we’ve created this open thread for users to share their experiences.
Have you tried out this crossbody bag? Let us know about it in the comments.

My husband brought home the tan one for me! I love that it also has a side pocket for a phone plus credit cards & your license. I love the braided handle too. Haven’t used it yet but it looks very handy! Thanks Aldi for always having great products at a great price. Caw caw!
They’re already in your store? They’re not supposed to be on shelves until April 22nd. It’s not uncommon for some stores to set things out early, but several days early is unusual.
