Aldi is Selling Crofton 6-Quart and 8-Quart Pasta Pots

It’s that time of year when Aldi begins stocking the middle aisle with all kinds of limited-edition cookware, just before the holiday cooking and hosting season kicks off. The latest weekly ad features porcelain enamel stockpots, cooking utensils, pasta bowls, and more.

One item that caught my eye is a pasta pot. It comes in two different sizes: 6 quarts and 8 quarts.

What We Know:

Crofton 6 Quart Pasta Pot
The 6-quart pasta pot.

The Crofton 6-Quart or 8-Quart Pasta Pot is an Aldi Find. That means it’s only in stores for a short time. Each store should receive one shipment, and after that sells out, it’s gone unless Aldi decides to bring it back later. You can’t order the pasta pot online from Aldi if it’s out of stock at your local store.

These are scheduled to arrive in Aldi stores the week of October 15th, 2025.

The pasta pot cost $34.99 in 2025. It’s the same price whether you buy the 6-quart version or the 8-quart version.

The 6-quart pasta pot has two pieces: the pot and the lid. The lid has a built-in strainer in the lid, so you can cook and drain your pasta all in one pot.

Meanwhile, the 8-quart pasta pot is a three-piece set. It comes with the pot and lid, and it also has a strainer pot that nests inside the regular pot. So, when it’s time to drain your pasta, you simply lift the built-in strainer out of the pot, leaving the water behind in the regular pot.

Crofton 8 Quart Pasta Pot
The 8-quart pasta pot.

The 6-quart pasta pot comes in either all stainless steel or a stainless steel pot with a copper lid. The 8-quart pasta pot is all stainless steel.

These are sold under the Crofton brand. That’s not a company. Instead, it’s the name Aldi puts on various cookware and kitchen products it sells, which it sources from different suppliers.

What We Don’t Know:

Aldi has not shared any details about these pasta pots, so we don’t know their exact dimensions until they actually arrive in stores. We also have not yet tried this ourselves, so we don’t know how well it works or how durable it is. We write open threads like this to give readers a place to discuss Aldi products.

  1. I have been using this pot. It serves the purpose but …

because it is so tall, it takes a VERY LONG TIME TO BOIL….

the pasta strainer does not go all the way to the bottom of the pot so you need a LOT of water to cook anything.

I have not fount it very efficient.
