If you want to give your bathroom an inexpensive makeover, it’s worth looking at what Aldi can offer. The discount grocer isn’t known just for food. They also rotate various home goods through their stock. That includes bathroom accessories such as bath mats, storage options, toothbrushes, shower curtains, toilet brushes, towels, towel warmers, and more.
Aldi sometimes even sells showerheads in different styles. Most recently, I spotted a multifunction 2-in-1 shower system in the weekly Aldi ad. This shower system is sold under the Easy Home brand. Easy Home is not a company. Instead, it’s the private label Aldi uses for assorted home goods. Other Easy Home products I’ve seen at Aldi recently include a portable cool mist humidifier, rechargeable hand warmers, and a boot, shoe, and glove dryer.
What We Know:
The Easy Home Multifunction 2-in-1 Shower System (Product Code: 820436) costs $19.99 at the time of publication. That’s on the lower end of prices for shower systems, especially showerheads that are 2-in-1 combos, which can run as high as into the $100s on Amazon.
This shower system is an Aldi Find, so it’s only in stores for a short time. Each store receives one shipment, and after that sells out, they’re gone unless Aldi decides to bring them back at some later point. Aldi doesn’t offer online ordering for products that are not in stock at your local store.
Here’s more information about the shower system, according to Aldi:
- Features five spray settings: rain, massage, rain + massage, sauna, and rain + sauna
- Includes three-way diverter; each shower can spray separately or at the same time
- Self-cleaning; soft, rubber spray holes allow you to wipe away calcium and lime buildup with the touch of a finger
- 0.75″ (1.9 cm) standard connection
- Shower hose length: 59.06″
- Flow rate maximum: 1.80 gpm (6.8 L/min) A112.18.1M
- Flow rate minimum: 1.3 gpm (4.9 L/min) at 45 psi
- Comes with a two-year warranty
Aldi also notes that this is “to be installed with a certified backflow protection device like vacuum braker or double check valve,” and that installers should “follow local codes and regulations.”
What We Don’t Know:
We haven’t tried this shower system, so we don’t know how well it works, how easy it is to install, or how it holds up with use. We write open threads so readers can talk about Aldi products.
