Be Ready for Weather with Crane Ladies’ and Men’s Rain Jackets

I’ve seen Aldi sell several types of jackets over the years, from packable rain jackets that are very sweaty to wear, to men’s training jackets, to a pretty good cold weather jacket that I’ve owned for almost six years.

This fall, Aldi is selling stylish-looking rain jackets for men and women in a few different color choices.

What We Know:

Crane Ladies’ and Men’s Rain Jackets are Aldi Finds, which means they’re in stores only for a short time. Each store should receive one shipment, and after that sells out, they’re gone unless Aldi decides to bring them back later. Aldi does not offer online ordering if these are out of stock at your local store.

These are scheduled to be in stores starting September 10th.

The rain jackets cost $14.99 each. You’ll have a hard time finding women’s rain jackets or men’s rain jackets that are cheaper than that price on Amazon.

Here’s more information on the ladies’ rain jackets, according to Aldi:

• Available in black, blue, or tan
• All styles 100% polyester
• Waterproof, breathable, and wind proof and resistent
• Bionic Finish Eco by Rudolf Group
• All styles feature zipper pocket and drawcord hoods with full body mesh lining
• OEKO-TEX certified

Here’s more information on the men’s rain jackets, according to Aldi:

• Available in black, gray, or green
• All styles 100% polyester
• Waterproof, wind resistent, and wind proof
• Bionic Finish by Rudolf Group
• Features contrast fabric in lower body, zipper pockets at hips and left chest, and adjustable Velcro cuffs
• OEKO-TEX certified

These are sold under the Crane brand. That’s not a company. Instead, it’s the name Aldi puts on some of the clothing it sells, which it sources from various suppliers.

What We Don’t Know:

We haven’t yet purchased any of these rain jackets, so we don’t know how well they fit, how comfortable or effective they are, or how durable they are. Also, Aldi has not yet published information about what sizes these come in. We write open threads to give readers a place to talk about Aldi products.
