New Ambiano 2 Slice Toaster Pops Up at Aldi

Toasters always seem to be popping up on the shelves in the middle aisle at Aldi. I’ve seen a variety of them over the years, from 4-slice toasters to retro toasters to toaster ovens. Whether you’re toasting English muffins for a breakfast sandwich or some whole grain bread for a BLT sandwich, or you just want some buttered toast, Aldi can be a good place to buy a toaster if you keep an eye on the weekly ad.
The latest toaster to show up at the discount grocer is a classic two-slice pop-up model.
What We Know:
The Ambiano 2 Slice Toaster (Product Code: 830357) is an Aldi Find, which means it’s only in stores for a short time. Each store receives one shipment, and after that sells out, it’s gone unless Aldi decides to bring it back later. Aldi does not offer online ordering for products that are sold out at your local store.
This is scheduled to arrive in Aldi stores on January 31st, 2024.
The Ambiano 2 Slice Toaster cost $19.99 at the time of publication. That’s $5 less than a similar toaster went for in 2023 at Aldi. That’s also on the cheaper end for similar toasters on Amazon.
Here’s more information about the Aldi toaster:
- Available in black, blue, or white
- Features durable matte finish steel housing
- Includes 2 extra wide toaster slots
- Offers Bagel mode, Gluten free mode, and 6 shade options
- Includes removable crumb tray
- Comes with non-skid feet
This is sold under the Ambiano brand. That’s not a company. Instead, it’s the private label Aldi puts on certain home goods.
What We Don’t Know:
We haven’t purchased this specific toaster, so we don’t know how well it works or how it holds up to use. We write open threads to provide readers with a place to discuss Aldi products.

I purchased the white color of this toaster. It’s a nice looking toaster and it works well. Toast is very evenly color on both sides and the toasting time dial is easy to adjust to your liking. The slots are fairly wide so thick slices like bagels are not a problem. However, the length of the slot can only fit squarish shaped bread. Rectangular shaped bread will not fit so you’ll have to insert it on it’s short end and that means it will not toast the full length evenly. For that reason, I would not recommend this toaster.
Thanks for the info!
