Huntington Home Monitor Riser with Drawer is New at Aldi

The trend of working from home exploded in popularity several years ago, and it remains popular. I know quite a few people who work at least part time from home, if not full time, depending on their jobs. That means there is still a market for home office equipment such as desks, comfortable work chairs, computers, keyboards, storage, shelving, and more.
One useful product Aldi occasionally sells is a stand for a computer monitor. If you’ve done computer work for any length of time, you know that good posture is important if you want to avoid a sore neck, carpal tunnel syndrome, and other aches and pains. A monitor stand can help raise a computer screen to eye level so you don’t strain your neck by looking down at the screen for long periods of time. I’ve found these stands can work well with a traditional monitor, or you can place a laptop on the stand and purchase an inexpensive keyboard and mouse separately to plug in and use so your hands are still positioned at table or desk height.
Aldi sold a nice monitor stand a few years ago that offered helpful slots for holding writing utensils, small office supplies, and even a cup. This year, Aldi is selling a more deluxe monitor stand that features a storage drawer. Aldi is selling this monitor stand in time for college students heading off to school as well, so don’t overlook this accessory while making your back-to-school shopping list.

The Huntington Home Monitor Riser with Drawer (Product Code: 712272) is an Aldi Find, which means it’s in stores for a short time only. Every store gets just one shipment. After that sells out, it’s gone unless Aldi decides to bring it back at some unknown future date. You can’t order this online from Aldi if it’s sold out at your local store.
This is scheduled to arrive in stores July 24th, 2024.
The Huntington Home Monitor Riser with Drawer cost $14.99 at the time of publication. That’s on the lower end for other computer monitor stands I found on Amazon.

Made in China by RankSharp Industries Ltd., there’s no warranty information and no manual (not that it needs one), just the outer cardboard wrap. There’s not much to say about it, other than it seems pretty solidly constructed (white painted metal frame and felt pads on the bottom to protect the desk surface) and it does the job for me. I can already feel the difference in my neck and shoulders with the center of the monitor now being at eye level; I’m hopeful this will help relieve some of the strain I feel after a few hours at the computer. The only slight drawback is that the drawer doesn’t glide in and out particularly smoothly (being wood on metal), but I won’t be using it much so it’s not a big deal, but might be for others.
Thanks for the info. I would have assumed the whole thing was made of wood. Interesting that just the drawer is wood and the rest of it is metal.
It’s on sale at Target for $25, so this really is a find!
