KIRKTON HOUSE Book Club Candles Coming to Aldi

As someone with an English degree, I love a good book. Or a good book-themed gift.
Aldi is selling both the week of June 24th, 2026. It’s book club week at the discount grocer, where you’ll find the middle aisle stocked with a small selection of popular novels. You’ll also see gifts such as book-shaped flower vases, book-themed stickers, tote bags and throw blankets for book lovers, magnetic bookmarks, and reading lights.
Aldi is also advertising candles that look like books.
What We Know:
The KIRKTON HOUSE Book Club Candle is an Aldi Find. That means it’s in stores for a short time only. Each store should receive one shipment, and after that sells out, it’s gone. Aldi does not offer online ordering if this is out of stock at your local store.
This is scheduled to arrive in stores June 24th, 2026.
The book club candle costs $7.99 in 2026. That’s a lot less than similar candles on Amazon.
The candles are available with Pride and Prejudice or Little Women “covers.” I’m not yet sure if there are other book titles available. Those are just the ones I’ve seen Aldi advertise in advance.
What We Don’t Know:
I haven’t yet tried this candle, but I intend to pick up one — or a few — when they show up in our local Aldi store. I don’t know the dimensions or the full range of designs or book titles available, or if these are scented, since Aldi rarely shares details about upcoming finds on its website anymore. I also don’t know how well or how evenly these will burn.
In the meantime, until I actually get my hands on one of these candles, we’re publishing this open thread to give readers a place to talk.
