Open Thread: Crane Air Lounger

Sometimes you need extra seating. It might be in a dorm room, or it might be at the beach or at a park. Lawn chairs will do the job quite easily. A blanket might work in a pinch.
Or, you could use an inflatable seat. Aldi occasionally sells just such a thing. Every so often, we see the discount grocer stock an air lounger that claims to inflate in seconds without any special tools. It’s one of the more unusual things we’ve seen Aldi sell.
What We Know:
The Crane Air Lounger (Product Code: 806476) is an Aldi Find, so it’s only in stores for a short time. Each store gets one shipment, and after that sells out, it’s gone until next year. Aldi does not offer online ordering for products that are sold out at your local store.
This is scheduled to arrive in Aldi stores on June 5th, 2024.
The Crane Air Lounger cost $14.99 at the time of publication. That’s cheaper than similar air loungers I found on Amazon.

This is sold under the Crane brand, which is not a company. It’s the name Aldi puts on various sports and outdoor goods to give them a uniform look in stores. Aldi may source these products from various different suppliers.
What We Don’t Know:
We haven’t yet tried this air lounger, so we don’t know how easily it inflates, how well it works, how comfortable it is, or how durable it is. Also, Aldi has not yet published information whether this has a weight limit or whether it comes with a warranty. We write open threads to give readers a place to discuss Aldi products.

I can not blow it up I have tried it outdoors not at the beach. I am looking for the receipt as we speak cause its a no bueno for me. I am not the greatest at reading directions but seems pretty straight forward and no good it would not inflate even halfway.
I hate this air lounger with every fiber of my being. I tried everything to inflate this. No way anyone can do this on the fly, with no artificial air source. I hope I can find a receipt to return this piece of garbage.
I got mine set up with no real problem. Took me two times to get it actually filled with air because it was my first time trying it. I’m 260 pounds. Sat on it and it is holding me fine. And it’s comfortable.
