I’ve been eating chicken noodle soup for as long as I can remember. Usually, I eat canned chicken noodle soup. When I saw that Aldi was selling Park Street Deli Homestyle Chicken Noodle Soup with White Meat Chicken, I figured I would get it and try it.

This soup is a Seasonal Item, so it’s sold at Aldi during certain months but not all year. In this case, Aldi sells this soup during the colder months. When it’s in stock, you’ll find it in the refrigerator case not far from the dips, cheeses, and deli meats.

Park Street Deli Chicken Noodle Homestyle Soup cost $4.95 at the time of writing for a 24-ounce container.

To heat in the microwave, remove the lid and film, place the container on a microwave-safe plate, and loosely cover with microwaveable plastic wrap or a paper towel. Heat on high for approximately 5-6 minutes or until internal temperature reaches a minimum of 165 degrees Fahrenheit, stirring halfway through. Carefully remove. Pour into a serving dish and stir well.

Ready to serve.

We made this soup on the stovetop, and we all liked it. There are a lot of small chopped carrots in it, and it has plenty of flat noodles. It might be nice if it had a little more chicken, but the chicken it does have tastes more real than in other canned soups I’ve eaten before. It has actual chicken breast chunks like what you’d put in homemade chicken noodle soup. Overall, it’s a really good soup.

The Verdict:

Park Street Deli Homestyle Chicken Noodle Soup is easy to heat and tastes good, and I think it’s better than most traditional canned chicken noodle soups. It’s a great choice if you need a quick and easy meal. I would buy this again.

  1. Yikes, holy sodium, Batman! Was going to add it to the grocery list until I saw how much sodium was in it. Will just continue to make my own.

  2. I’ve had this soup a couple of times already, it’s really good and tastes more close to homemade than any other brand I have tried. Yes, the sodium content is kinda high, but compared to other soups, not really. Just don’t each that much in one sitting, or add water or more veggies. ^_~ I’ll keep buying this as long as it continues to be available, it’s just that hearty and delicious. 🙂
