Trader Joe’s Mocha Latte Pretzels

I’m not a black coffee drinker, but I love coffee-flavored treats. I’m always up for some coffee ice cream, or Aldi summer-seasonal java chip frappes, or Trader Joe’s Caramel Coffee Almonds.

Trader Joe’s, which is a cousin to Aldi, recently published its latest Fearless Flyer, which is a detailed advertisement for various new and/or seasonal products. Listed among the sour cream & onion rings and mango cream bars were some mocha latte pretzels. I was instantly sold.

These are a nice combination of salty, sweet, and bittersweet coffee. The pretzels have a good crunch, and the confectionary coffee coating is smooth and delicious. I like the fact that real ground coffee beans are actually listed among the ingredients. These didn’t last long in my house.

The Verdict:

Trader Joe’s Mocha Latte Pretzels feature mini twist pretzels with a coffee-flavored confectionary coating with chocolate drizzle. They’re crunchy, smooth, salty, and sweet, with good coffee flavor that isn’t overly strong. This is the perfect snack for people who like coffee, and it’s also great for people who like coffee-flavored treats but don’t necessarily like to drink traditional coffee. Either way, these are worth dropping in your TJ’s shopping cart.
