KIRKTON HOUSE Wood Holiday Icon Candles Coming to Aldi

In recent years, Aldi has sold some pretty trendy home decor. Their products are often imitations of expensive name brands such as Pottery Barn, or they’re simply lower-priced versions of products you might find at Target or IKEA. Or, sometimes Aldi sells home goods that I’m not sure are inspired by any retailer in particular.
The latest Aldi ad features candles poured into wooden molds in the shape of either a Christmas tree or a gingerbread man. These candles look like they came right out of the pages of a catalogue or advertisement for an upscale retailer. I’ve seen wooden bowls like this referred to as dough bowls, and in fact, dough bowl candles in various shapes are not hard to find at other stores. They have a rustic, farmhouse-style look to them.
What We Know:
The KIRKTON HOUSE Wood Holiday Icon Candle (previously called the Huntington Home Wood Tree Candle) is an Aldi Find, which means it’s only in stores for a short time. Each store receives one shipment of the candles, and after they sell out, they’re gone. Aldi does not offer online ordering for these if they’re not in stock at your local store.
This is scheduled to arrive in Aldi stores on November 5th, 2025.
The candle costs $19.99 in 2025. That’s up from $14.99 when we first wrote about it in 2023. It’s still on the lower end of prices for other dough bowl candles I found online.
The candle comes in three shapes and scents: a Christmas tree in Balsam Birch, a Christmas tree in Ambered Woodland, and a gingerbread man in Gingerbread Cinnamon.
What We Don’t Know:
We haven’t yet purchased these candles, so we don’t know what their dimensions are or how well they burn. We’re also not sure exactly how many wicks these have, but we’re guessing they have several. We write open threads to provide readers with a place to discuss Aldi products.

Hi, Cindy. I don’t know if these specific tree-shaped wooden candles will be back or not, but Aldi recently sold a fall-themed large wooden candle with multiple wicks similar to this one. Your best bet is to keep an eye on the weekly Aldi ad. Good luck!
