You never know what will pop up in the middle aisle at Aldi. This is true any time of year, but especially during the Christmas season when Aldi fans are looking for gifts and stocking stuffers for everyone on their shopping lists. Personal care and beauty products seem to be popular. So are toys and games.
Other types products you’ll often spot at Aldi in December are technology and electronics. Of late, we’ve seen LED Bluetooth speakers, wireless charging stations, and wireless headphones among the mix.
The most recent Aldi ad features something new: a mini retro Bluetooth speaker that looks like a vintage radio.
What We Know:

The Bauhn Mini Retro Bluetooth Speaker (Product Code: 712774) is an Aldi Find. That means it’s in stores for just a short time. Each store gets one shipment, and after that sells out, it’s gone unless Aldi decides to bring it back later. Aldi does not offer online ordering for products that are not in stock at your local store.
The retro speaker cost $7.99 in 2025. That’s the same price as 2024. The price is cheaper than any other retro-style Bluetooth speaker I could find online.
Here’s more information, according to Aldi:
- Choose from black, teal, or pink
- Offers long-lasting play time
- Includes easy-to-carry with leather handle
- Portable vintage design: perfect for home decor
- Bluetooth compatible
- USB rechargeable
- Features adjustable volume
- Includes FM radio
- Micro SD/TF slot
This is sold under the Bauhn brand, which is an Aldi house brand for tech and electronics.
What We Don’t Know:
We haven’t yet gotten our hands on this speaker, so we don’t know how well it works. We write open threads to give readers a place to talk about Aldi products.

I got one. It looks nice. But there is NO INSTRUCTIONS! I was hoping to find some help here

Bought the black version and immediately fell in love with it. Sound is great with music or voice audio. FM radio works, but is weak and you have no way to tell what channel you are on since there is no visible way to see it. The “dial” is actually the volume control. That being said, I love it enough that I went back and bought the pink and teal version too!
i got one also and for the size the sound is really great i think it sounds so full due to the bass reflex thing in the back like a mini sub woofer
mine did come with directions
well worth the $7.99
I wanted to love this thing but I can’t any more. So tired of the volume dropping if I get any type of notification on my phone while streaming to the speaker. Volume never goes back to normal like any other speaker I have owned. Also, when I disconnect from my phone it never powers off unless I do it manually. Every other device I own will power down automatically after a couple minutes if it is disconnected from the source. This thing will just sit there until the battery fully discharges.
Anybody else noticing these issues or is it just my unit?
