Aldi Disney BFF Character Necklaces
Aldi is known to occasionally drop Disney fan gear into its middle aisle. It’s often a big deal when it happens, spurring Disney afficionados to show up first thing in the morning on the day the products hit shelves.
I saw that fandom in action personally in the spring of 2024 when Aldi released a range of Disney items including hats, mouse ear headbands, earrings, wallets, shoes, and more. Aldi later stocked more Disney products in advance of the 2024 holiday season, including snow globes, plush Mickeys, hand towels, and other mouse-themed decor.
Now, Aldi is selling limited-edition Disney-themed necklaces. They include various versions of Mickey and Minnie, along with Stitch from the movie Lilo & Stitch. In addition, Aldi is selling a set of Care Bear necklaces as part of this collection. However, the Care Bears franchise isn’t owned by Disney; it’s owned by IVEST Consumer Products.
I picked up a set of necklaces during my weekly Aldi run.

The Aldi Disney BFF Character Necklaces are Aldi Finds. That means they’re in stores for a short time only. Each store gets one shipment, and they’re gone after that sells out. Aldi does not offer online ordering for products that are out of stock at your local store.
These necklaces cost $4.99 for a set of two. That seems pretty inexpensive for two necklaces.
These are distributed by H.E.R. Accessories, which sells watches, cosmetics, jewelry, hair accessories, and more. Aldi has sold other licensed Disney gear from this company, including mouse ear headbands and Mickey Mouse and Minnie Mouse earrings.

Character and design choices include the following:
- Care Bears
- Mickey and Minnie
- Minnie Bows
- Stitch and Angel
I bought the Minnie Bows necklace set, which includes one necklace with a black mouse silhouette with a bow and one necklace with a red bow with white polka cots.
So far, I like the necklaces. They’re a good size and length. The chain measures about 19.5 inches when I unfasten the clasp and lay the necklace out as long as it will go. I bought this for an older teen, and it’s a good length on her. I wouldn’t give these necklaces to a young child, but I think they’d be fine for a responsible elementary-aged child. The clasps are easy enough to work, and the chain is thick enough that hopefully it won’t tangle easily.
I’m happy with this purchase. These necklaces seem like they’ll hold up well, too, but time will tell in that regard. I’ll update this post with any potential new developments.
The Verdict:
Aldi Disney BFF Character Necklaces come in several designs, including Mickey and Minnie, Minnie bows, Stitch and Angel, and Care Bears. (Care Bears are not actually owned by Disney.) The necklaces are about 19.5 inches long when laid out at their full length. These are cute and fun, and for $5 per set they’re worth picking up for the Disney or Care Bears fans in your life.

Will these necklaces be ok for an 8-year-old girl? Or will they be too long?
Aldi hasn’t said how long the necklaces are. We won’t know until they arrive in stores later this week.
We bought a necklace set and have updated the post above. The necklaces measure about 19.5 inches long. They’re fine for adults, and I don’t think they’d be too long for a child.
