Aldi is Dropping an Ambiano 3-in-1 Lightweight Stick Vacuum

Household chores are not always enjoyable, but I do love the satisfaction of running a vacuum through my house and then emptying the dust container afterward. Everything feels cleaner when I can actually see the dirt, dust, pet (and human) hair, crumbs, and other debris the vacuum has picked up.

If it’s a vacuum you want, Aldi rotates various models through its stores on a regular basis. Some of them are better than others, and a select few are not good at all. I’ve had pretty good experiences with an Aldi upright bagless vacuum and with a newer pet vacuum. However, a cordless stick vacuum I purchased from Aldi last year was dead out of the box and I had to return it.

The most recent vacuum to show up in the weekly Aldi ad is a 3-in-1 lightweight stick vacuum. Here’s more information.

What We Know:

Ambiano 3-in-1 Lightweight Stick Vacuum

The Ambiano 3-in-1 Lightweight Stick Vacuum (Product Code: 705069) is an Aldi Find, so it’s only in stores for a short time. Each store gets one shipment, and after that sells out, it’s gone unless Aldi decides to bring it back at some later point. Aldi in the U.S. does not offer online ordering for products not in stock at your local store.

The vacuum cost $19.99 in September of 2023. That’s quite a bit less than other stick vacuums I found on Amazon at the time of publication.

Here’s more information about the vacuum, according to Aldi:

  • Available in assorted colors
  • Features a detachable base for handheld use
  • Works on rugs and hard floors
  • Comes with crevice tool for tight spots
  • Includes easy -to-empty bagless dust container
  • Includes cord rest and collapsible handle for easy storage

This vacuum is sold under the Ambiano brand, which is not a company. Instead, it’s the private label Aldi uses for various household goods such as bread makers, immersion blenders, and steam cleaners.

What We Don’t Know:

We haven’t yet tried this vacuum, so we don’t know how well it works, how easy it is to clean and maintain, or how it holds up to regular use. Aldi also has not yet published information about whether this vacuum comes with any kind of warranty. We write open threads so readers can have a space to discuss Aldi products.

  1. I bought one to use on my patio. It seems to have sufficient suction. It is a bit loud, so I will definitely be wearing earplugs when using it (not an issue, I do this with all vacuums ). The manual does note a 3 year warranty, but only 6 months on moving parts (not exactly sure what that means).
There is a small filter that will likely need to be cleaned after every use. I used a hose to clean mine. I don’t recall reading anything about how to get a replacement filter if needed. But there is a phone number to call for product assistance if needed.

  2. Love this vacuum! It is lightweight indeed, making the job easy.
Works well, and there’s plenty of sand and pet hair around my home.
Donated the cumbersome old upright to the thrift store.

  3. this vacuum works SO well and for $20 it comes with the detachments and such. i use it in my dorm and it never disappoints

  4. I bought this vacuum. It feels like a toy because it is lightweight. I have used it once, it is kind of noisy. It doesn’t work on rugs because the wheels are plastic and low, so it doesn’t roll on the rough. I might keep it since I haven’t bought a real one and it might do the job meanwhile. Not bad for the price though.

  5. I won’t use it on rugs. But it is fantastic for the litter my cats seem to track without fail, and as a quick pick up.

I will not get rid of my Dyson’s but this lightweight vac has the convenience of a handheld with actual suction and no reliance on a battery charge.

I have concerns about the filter and will be calling to get additional ones. Because pet fur and stuff.

I’m thrilled with it. I like that it is a stick vac so I don’t have to bend over. But it is lightweight and easy to use as a handheld which it can be used as as well.

  6. Love this vacuum! I only use it on bare floors, mainly to pick up dog fur. It does a great job although it is loud! I no longer need a broom and dust pan, and it cuts the time. My only concern is how to get new filters.

  7. Where can I get replacement filters
