Mama Cozzi’s 6 Meat Pizza

During the summer when everyone is home from school, I keep more easy lunch options in the house. They range from sandwich fixings to chicken tenders to canned tuna and crackers, and sometimes frozen pizzas.

A couple of interesting pizzas showed up this week in the limited-edition freezer case at Aldi. One pizza is barbecue-themed and features crispy corn chips as a topping. The other pizza is a more conventional meat lovers variety, with a blend of toppings that includes sausage, ham, beef, pepperoni, Canadian style bacon, and regular bacon.

Here, I’m taking a closer look at the meat pizza. More specifically, it’s called a 6 meat pizza.

Mama Cozzi’s 6 Meat Pizza is an Aldi Find. That means it’s only in stores for a short time. Each store should receive one shipment, and after that sells out, it’s gone unless Aldi decides to bring it back later. Aldi does not offer online ordering if this is out of stock at your local store.

This most recently arrived in stores July 2nd, 2025. It cost $5.99 for a 21-ounce pizza at our local store, which comes out to about 29 cents per ounce. We bought this with our own funds.

The package states this features mozzarella cheese, sausage, diced ham, beef topping, pepperoni, Canadian style bacon, and bacon.

If you’re looking out for allergens, this contains milk, wheat, and soy.

This is loaded with sodium and fat, and it has some processed ingredients, although the label states it has a crust free of artificial preservatives.

One pizza serves four. One serving has 360 calories, 17 grams of total fat (21% DV), 8 grams of saturated fat (39% DV), 990 mg of sodium (43% DV), 33 grams of total carbohydrates (12% DV), 2 grams of dietary fiber (8% DV), 4 grams of total sugars, 1 gram of added sugars (2% DV), and 16 grams of protein.

The package has directions for baking the pizza in a conventional oven. Preheat the oven to 400 degrees. Remove the pizza from the wrapper and cardboard tray. Place the pizza directly on the center oven rack. (I used a pizza pan.) Bake for approximately 19-23 minutes or until the cheese is golden brown.

One of the first things I noticed about this pizza is how cheesy it is. It doesn’t skimp on the mozzarella. It has a decent amount of meat, but it’s not as loaded as some other meat lovers types of pizzas I’ve had. The toppings are mostly buried under the cheese, so there is more meat than you might think just from looking at the pizza. The meat that’s there is good and, overall, this isn’t a bad pizza.

The Verdict:

Mama Cozzi’s 6 Meat Pizza includes lots of mozzarella cheese along with sausage, diced ham, beef topping, pepperoni, Canadian style bacon, and traditional bacon. We feel like it could use a little more meat, but otherwise it’s a good pizza.
