The Halloween Collection Halloween Throw
My family loves throw blankets. We always keep a few by our couch, and they’re great to use when you’re just lounging around, reading, or watching a movie.
Last year, Aldi sold several fall-themed throw blankets, and we purchased one that had books and tea cups printed on it. Though we didn’t review it, it’s lasted well the whole year and isn’t going to fail us anytime soon. We loved the cute design, and that it’s durable and soft.
So this year, when Aldi released a variety of Halloween-themed throws in new designs that were an identical build to last year’s, I thought it was about time we analyze it properly.
The Halloween Collection Halloween Throw is $4.99, and we bought it with our own funds.
It is an Aldi Find, meaning it’s only in stores for a limited time. Each store gets one shipment and once they’re gone, they’re gone. You can’t order these online if they’re not in stock at your local store.
The Halloween Collection appears to be a new Aldi house brand, similar to the store’s Christmas brand, Merry Moments.
There are six designs to choose from this year: spiderwebs, pink ghosts, black ghosts, pumpkin checker, pumpkin toss, and the one I got, purple Halloween. The one I bought features cats, skeletons, pumpkins, bats, and ghosts against a purple background.
You can find throw blankets on Amazon for as cheap as $10, but I never found anything as cheap as Aldi, so you’re getting a great deal on this throw.
The blanket is 50 inches by 60 inches, and it is advertised as super soft and festive. It’s made of 100% polyester and is machine washable in cold water on a gentle cycle with like colors.
I didn’t have any complaints about last year’s blanket, and I haven’t had any about this year’s either.
It’s a lightweight blanket, which is nice during the fall months when it’s not so cold you have to bundle up in multiple layers. It’s also not super large, which makes it easy to fold and store almost anywhere.
It’s also very durable. Our cat — whom we fondly refer to here as The Aldi Reviewer Cat — loves to sit on our laps when we’re using this blanket, and she kneads it. Last year’s throw put up with her claws for a long time, and you can’t see much damage done to it. We’ve loved these fall-themed throws so much that we use them year round, and this new throw won’t be any different.
The Verdict:
The Halloween Collection Halloween Throw is an Aldi Find in Aldi’s first wave of fall decorations this year, and I’m glad they’ve brought these back. They’re durable, cute, and great to use all throughout the house. If you’ve been on the lookout for cute and functional seasonal decor, this blanket is worth looking at.
