Disney Holiday-Themed Pins Headed to Aldi

Disney is a cult. The House of Mouse has crafted a rabid fan base for decades, thanks to a voluminous collection of … well, whatever you might think of. You can find Disney-owned properties everywhere from the silver screen to the end cap in the dollar store.
It’s so serious, Disney even has cults within the cult. There’s the Disney Princess cult. The Disney World cult. The Disneyland cult. The Disney Vacation Club cult. And let’s not even get started with Star Wars, Marvel, or even The Simpsons.
Enter the Disney pin cult. Yes, this is a thing. Disney sells a dizzying array of pin styles, most famously at its resorts. Pin devotees will buy the pins and then trade the pins in their endless quests to acquire the perfect collection. It’s so serious Disney even has guidelines on how much people can trade in its resorts.
Aldi has taken up a lot of Disney-themed merch in the 2020s. Well, in the early winter of 2025 Aldi sold a few Disney pins. But are they the Disney pins?
What We Know:

Aldi Disney Pins are an Aldi Find. That means each store gets one shipment, and once that shipment is sold out, you won’t be able to get them until they come back, whenever that might be. If you can’t find them in stores, you’re out of luck until at least next year, assuming they come back at all. Aldi doesn’t offer online ordering if these are out of stock at your local store.
The pins are being sold as part of a larger slate of Disney Premium Holiday Character Accessories that includes bracelets and those iconic Disney headbands. And that’s just a small selection of all the Disney merch Aldi is selling during this particular week.

In 2025, the pins cost $6.99. That’s a lot less than the pins you’ll find at Disney World or even Amazon, which run $15-$20 apiece.
The pins come in three different designs:
- a Mickey bicycle vintage pin
- a Mickey and Minnie vintage pin
- a Minnie vintage pin

What We Don’t Know:
We haven’t yet tried out these pins, so we can’t speak to build quality or durability.
There’s also the legitimate question of whether these are the kinds of pins you could turn around and trade. We don’t know for certain, but we are quite curious to find out.
For all those reasons, we’ve created this open thread for users to talk about their experiences.
Have you gotten these pins? Better yet, have you compared them to authentic Disney pins? Let us know about it in the comments!
