And then you step on the scale in January.

Enter the New Year’s resolution, where people purpose to lose the holiday pounds and get into better shape to ring in the new year. Any gym rat will tell you that gyms and fitness centers fill up in January, with the crowds thinning out as the weeks go on.

Aldi has leaned heavily into the new year fitness trend in recent years. The grocer trots out all kinds of workout gear. Some years the store has gone quite big, while other times the grocer opts for smaller accessories, like hand weights.

What We Know:

The Crane 20-Pound Dumbbell Set with Rack is an Aldi Find. That means each store gets a limited stock, and once that stock is sold out, you won’t be able to get it again until it comes back into stores, whenever that may be. With fitness gear, Aldi sells it most consistently in January, so if you can’t find it then, you’re likely out of luck until the next January.

In 2025, this set cost $29.99. That’s on the lower end of prices compared to similar products on Amazon.

The set comes with a pair of 2 pound dumbbells, 3 pound dumbbells, and 5 pound dumbbells. The dumbbells are made of PVC over cast iron, and the set comes with a rack.

What We Don’t Know:
