Aldi Selling an Ice Bucket Wireless Speaker

Aldi, I have learned over the years, has mastered the art of stuff I never thought I needed. From toilet bowl lights to green bean casserole pizza, Aldi knows how to drop some truly odd stuff into its limited buy aisles. More often than not, I conclude that Aldi’s strange addition isn’t for me, but that’s not always the case. At the very least, there’s no denying that strange items do keep people coming back to the store.

After all, we all want to see what’s next.

Recently, Aldi dropped another seemingly strange device into it’s Aldi Find lineup.

What We Know:

The Soundlogic Ice Bucket Wireless Speaker (Product Code: 706792) is an Aldi Find. That means it’s only in stores for a short time. Once it’s sold out, it’s gone, and you won’t be able to get it again until it comes back. This product is making its debut in winter 2022, and it’s not clear if it will be an annual buy or not.

Soundlogic is not an Aldi exclusive. You can find the brand at a number of retailers, including at Walmart and on Amazon. Soundlogic is a brand of Midwest Trading Group, based out of Chicago, and specializes in audio equipment, including headphones.

At the time of this post, the bucket costs $24.99. This specific product isn’t sold in any other place I can find; there is a listing on Walmart’s site for $29.99, but it’s out of stock. In addition, there are a handful of other buckets like this one on Amazon, but all of them are in the $30-$40 range. From a price perspective, this looks like a good deal.

What We Don’t Know:

We haven’t tested this bucket speaker, so we don’t know how good the sound is, how well it connects via Bluetooth, or how long it lasts. We’ve created this open thread for users to share their experiences.
