Mother’s Day falls on May 12th this year, and Aldi has been stocking a variety of cards and potential gifts in time for the Hallmark holiday. Lately I’ve seen candles, LEGO flower building kits, flower bouquets, specialty chocolates, and Stanley Tumbler knockoffs at the discount grocery store.
One thing you might want to pick up from Aldi as a gift, or simply for yourself, is a water bottle holder bag. These handy $10 Aldi bags are dupes of name-brand CALPAK water bottle holders, which cost $48 on CALPAK’s website. The Aldi bags look so similar to the name brand that’s hard to tell them apart.
Both the CALPAK and Aldi bags have a main drawstring compartment that holds a lot of standard types of water bottles (but probably not one of those big Stanley knockoffs with the handles), and they have a pocket for holding other small items. They also feature a convenient carrying handle and an adjustable strap so you can carry it on your shoulder. These are ideal for walks, days at the park, or any time you want a hands-free way to carry water with you.
What We Know:
The Serra Water Bottle Holder Bag (Product Code: 830753) is an Aldi Find, so it’s only in stores for a short time. Each store gets one shipment, and once that’s gone, it’s gone. Aldi does not offer online ordering if this is sold out at your local store.
This was scheduled to arrive in stores on April 17th, 2024.
The Serra Water Bottle Holder Bag cost $9.99 at the time of publication. That’s a fraction of the $48 price tag for a name-brand Calpak Water Bottle Holder. It’s also on the lower range of prices for other brands of water bottle holder bags I found on Amazon.
Here’s more information, according to Aldi:
- Available in Black, Floral, Checkered, and Orange designs
- Features a drawstring main compartment
- Includes top carry handle
- Offers back pocket with elastic band
- Includes removable, adjustable shoulder strap
These bags are sold under the Serra brand. You won’t find a company called Serra that makes these. Instead, Serra is the name Aldi puts on clothing and accessories that it sells for women, and Aldi sources those products from a variety of suppliers.
What We Don’t Know:
We haven’t yet tried this water bottle holder bag, so we don’t know how well it works or how durable it is. We write open threads to give readers a space to talk about Aldi products.
