Belavi Raised Garden Bed Headed to Aldi

Raised garden beds are a great way to grow healthy flowers and veggies. You can fill a raised bed with whatever garden soil, compost, or other materials you want. Raised beds are especially nice if you live in an area where you don’t have naturally rich or fertile soil to start a garden in. I have several raised beds in my backyard, where I grow everything from berries to flowers to green beans.

Aldi used to sell some excellent modular raised garden beds every spring. They were made of composite wood grain timbers and were manufactured by Frame It All, which produces and sells a variety of raised garden kits.

However, it’s been about six years since I last saw those types of raised garden beds in Aldi stores. Aldi has sold raised planters — basically small garden beds on legs — of various sizes and designs, but no more large raised beds that sit directly on the ground.

That is changing this year. The latest weekly Aldi ad indicates a new raised garden bed kit is coming to stores. This one is different from the old Frame It All raised beds Aldi used to sell. The new raised garden bed looks like it’s made entirely of wood, with no composite or plastic components that I can see.

What We Know:

Belavi Raised Garden Bed

The Belavi Raised Garden Bed (Product Code: 829865) is an Aldi Find, which means it’s only in stores for a short time. Each store gets one shipment, and after that sells out, it’s gone unless Aldi decides to bring it back next year. You can’t order this online from Aldi if it’s sold out at your local store.

This is scheduled to arrive in stores on March 27th, 2024.

The Belavi Raised Garden Bed cost $19.99 at the time of publication. That’s cheaper than other wooden raised garden beds on Amazon.

Here’s more information about the Aldi raised garden bed:

  • Easy, tool-free assembly
  • Suitable for various surfaces
  • Open-bottom design encourages healthy plant growth

I don’t know for sure, but it looks like this bed has the potential to be modular if you wanted to buy two kits and connect them.

This raised bed is sold under the Belavi brand. There is no company called Belavi. Instead, that’s the name Aldi puts on its garden-related products, which it sources from various suppliers.

What We Don’t Know:

We haven’t yet purchased this raised garden bed, so we don’t know how easily it assembles or how durable it is. Also important: Aldi has not yet published information about the dimensions of this raised bed, so we don’t know how big it is. In addition, Aldi has not yet stated whether this comes with a warranty. We write open threads to offer readers a place where they can discuss Aldi products.

  1. Do you happen to know the dimensions of this planter?

  2. I have been searching for dimensions and they don’t seem to be available. I’m guessing they must be a max of 4’x3′. Hoping to get a look at one today, as they are supposed to have hit stores this morning.

    • Yeah, Aldi didn’t publish dimensions in their weekly ad, so the only way to find that information is to actually get eyes on the product. Please come back here and let us know if you find out the measurements.

  3. Item dimensions:
    54.72 x 38.97 x 7.87 inches /
    (139 x 99 x 20 cm W x D x H)

  4. Thanks Marty!

  5. I was lucky enough to procure one from Aldi! It was very easy to put together (no tools required). I’m now wondering what kind of wood it is and if I should treat it somehow! It seems good quality for the price though.
