Bremer Grilled Cheese Sandwiches
I often like to make grilled cheese sandwiches and tomato soup for my family on the weekends. It’s easy, and it’s comfort food. I make the sandwiches with Aldi Graintastic bread, and I pop open a couple of cans of Campbell’s Tomato Soup, which is perfect for dunking sandwich triangles in.
When it comes to grilled cheese, ready-made grilled cheese sandwiches are not something I’ve seen at the grocery store before. It’s pretty much assumed that people make their own grilled cheese sandwiches. It’s not hard. Grab two pieces of bread. Spread some butter or butter alternative on one side of each piece of bread. Put a slice butter-side down on a hot skillet, add a cheese slice or two, and top with the second piece of bread, butter-side up. Cook for a few minutes until the bottom is nicely browned, then flip and cook until the other side is browned.
Sometimes Aldi likes to be different, though. Leave it to the discount grocer to sell premade, frozen grilled cheese sandwiches. These were not on my Aldi 2025 Bingo card.
Bremer Grilled Cheese Sandwiches are an Aldi Find. That means they’re only in stores for a short time. Each store should get one shipment, and after that sells out, they’re gone unless Aldi decides to bring them back later. Aldi does not offer online ordering if these are out of stock at your local store.
We buy Aldi products using our own funds. I paid $4.49 for a 14.1-ounce box containing four whole sandwiches in 2025. That comes out to about 31 cents per ounce or about $1.12 per sandwich.
These are a product of Canada.

If you’re looking out for allergens, these contain milk and wheat. They may contain eggs, soy, almonds, coconut, hazelnuts, pecans, peanuts, and walnuts.
One sandwich has 380 calories, 26 grams of total fat (33% DV), 10 grams of saturated fat (50% DV), 700 mg of sodium (30% DV), 27 grams of total carbohydrates (10% DV), 1 gram of dietary fiber (4% DV), 4 grams of total sugars, 3 grams of added sugars (6% DV), and 11 grams of protein.

The box has directions for heating these from frozen in the microwave and toaster or heating them in an air fryer.
For the microwave and toaster method, remove a sandwich from the plastic wrap. Microwave each sandwich first for 30 seconds or until warm. Set the toaster to medium-high or as desired. Toast your sandwich for one cycle.
For the air fryer, remove a sandwich from the plastic wrap. Place a sandwich in the air fryer and set the temperature to 350 degrees for approximately 7 minutes.

I cooked these in my air fryer, which was just barely large enough to cook two sandwiches at a time. I flipped the sandwiches halfway through the cooking time to help evenly toast both sides.
These turned out very good. They have a lot of cheese inside, and the bread gets nicely toasted. The cheese isn’t all that gooey, but it’s still delicious. These don’t get your hands as greasy as homemade grilled cheese sandwiches do, which some people might consider a positive. I served these with soup, and everyone loved them.
The Verdict:
Bremer Grilled Cheese Sandwiches are frozen and come with four sandwiches per box, each wrapped individually. You can cook them in the microwave/toaster oven or in an air fryer in just minutes. These are crispy, with a good amount of cheese, and they didn’t last long in our house. Can you make your own grilled cheese for less money? Yes. But if you want really convenient grilled cheese, these fit the bill.

These are crispy and excellent for lunch in the morning, I would recommend it for everyone that want to make breakfast quickly before going to work.
I have tried another brand from my regional grocery store before and liked it but they cost the same (on sale) for only 2 sandwiches. I might have to give these a go!
That would come out to more than $2 per sandwich, which seems pretty pricey for just grilled cheese. Hopefully you’re able to find the Aldi ones, which are a much better deal at just over $1 per sandwich.
I’ve only seen this in the store once. (Went back several times over several weeks.) so how can I get this 4 pack?
