Crane Ladder Toss

Summer is on our doorstep, and that means time spent outdoors. When I attend cookouts or go camping, it’s common to see various lawn games such as corn hole or ring toss.

Aldi often sells lawn games once a year. In late May of 2026, Aldi is selling a range of outdoor games, including bocce, lawn bowling, wooden dominoes, ring toss, washer toss, Velcro ball-catch sets, and even a giant Connect 4 style game.

One classic game that caught my eye is ladder toss, which involves tossing small balls on ropes onto the rungs on a short ladder. With some outdoor parties on my schedule this year, it looked like just the thing to add a little extra fun.

Crane Ladder Toss is an Aldi Find. That means it’s only in stores for a short time. Each store should get one shipment, and it won’t be restocked after that until possibly next year. Aldi does not offer online ordering if this is out of stock at your local store.

This was scheduled to arrive in stores May 20th, 2026.

The Crane Ladder Toss costs $19.99 in 2026. That’s cheaper than other ladder toss games on Amazon.

What comes in the box.

When you open the box, you’ll find everything you need to set up the game itself, plus ground stakes, small clips to help mark scores, a storage bag, and an assembly and game play manual.

Assembly was fairly easy. All of the poles are labelled with numbers, which was helpful. The exception was the support braces, which were a little tricky to attach to the leg poles, but we eventually got it done.

Playing the Game:

This works as expected. We set it up in our yard and spent a little time playing. We’re planning to use this more in the coming weeks, and I’ll update this post with any potential new developments. So far, we like it.

The Verdict:

Crane Ladder Toss is a classic lawn game great for parties, tailgating, camping, or any time you want a little outdoor entertainment. This assembles without too much difficulty and works well.

  1. Thank you for this! I brought this on a weekend getaway. A storm came & since the box was outside it was completely drenched & the instructions were a soggy mess. I kept the parts but had no picture and no instructions. Whew. It is now together and my grandson is ready to play!
