Crofton Stainless Steel Water Bottle with TPR Handle

Back in 2018, I purchased the Adventuridge 24 Ounce Stainless Steel Vacuum Bottle from Aldi. I was looking for a water bottle that could keep things cold while camping, and the bottle delivered. I’ve used it, not only for camping, but for hiking and even taking to work. Seven years on, it’s been one of my most enduring Aldi purchases.

In the summer of 2025, I was starting to look for a possible bottle like it to add to the mix. While the Adventuridge is still holding up well, I’d like to have more go-to water bottles.

Lo and behold, Aldi took that moment to stock just such a water bottle.

The Crofton Stainless Steel Water Bottle with TPR Handle is an Aldi Find. You can find a single shipment of it in the middle aisle, and once it’s sold out, you won’t be able to get it again until it comes back, whenever that might be. Aldi doesn’t ship online, so if you can’t find it in local stores, you’re out of luck.

The bottles have a capacity of 21 ounces and come in four colors: blue, light blue, lilac, and red. The packaging doesn’t say who made the bottle, other than it is a product of China.

In 2025, Aldi sold the water bottle for $6.99. That just happens to be the same price Aldi sold my (24-ounce) Adventuridge bottle for back in 2018. It’s also a lot less than other stainless steel water bottles on Amazon. We purchased four of them using our own funds for review.

It’s a simple water bottle. There’s a cap, a TPU strap, and the main bottle. To open, you unscrew the cap, and to close it, you screw it back on. The TPU strap is attached to the body of the bottle and is large enough to slip a finger or two through it for carrying.

The packaging says that the bottle is dishwasher safe, but the lid is hand wash only. I’m not a fan of putting these in the dishwasher, so I tend to wash the whole thing by hand. In addition, the package also says these are — like most water bottles of this type — not suitable for carbonated beverages. .

I put the bottles to a simple ice test, filling them half-full of ice, topping them off with tap water, sealing them, and letting them sit overnight.

Right after putting the ice in.

In the morning, about 10 hours later, the ice was gone but the water was still cold. I’ve had other water bottles do a little better with keeping the ice — including my old Adventuridge — but for me this is an acceptable amount of insulation for a day use kind of water bottle.

The Verdict:

The Crofton Stainless Steel Water Bottle is an inexpensive option for a double-walled bottle. It’s easy to use and appears to do what you might want a day use water bottle to do. While there’s no warranty, the low price might make these worth a look if you need a reasonably compact bottle when you’re out and about.
